The guide says W-item is in the subway under sector 8, but is that the first time when you're going to save Aeris or the return to midgar when you parachute in? Or both? I dunno if that's meant to be actually the same location or if they just re-used the backdrop and it's different tunnels.

It's the second time, during the raid on Midgar.

Uh, could you be more specific? I'm down there right now and I've gone over every inch of it but I can't find the materia.

Edit: Never mind, I found it. I was going that way for a while but stopped one screen short of the first box with one of the sources in it, that would have told me that it wasn't just an infinite loop of the same 2 halls like I had thought it was. I got it now.
