You CAN make copies of items, even if you only own one of it. So you can make 99 Hero Drinks, even if you only found one.
The Procedure -Select W-Item and go to any item you have one of. -Select it, and select a person. -When selecting the other item, go to any other item you have more of. I used X-Potion, personally. -When selecting a person, click Cancel. -Repeat. If you don't trust me, you can save your game before trying, or just try to copy an item you could afford to lose. (Like a Potion, for example.) This post has been edited by Raian the Fallen on 14th February 2009 01:40 -------------------- |

Quote YOU CAN ONLY DUPLICATE ITEMS USABLE IN BATTLE, AND ONLY IF YOU POSSESS AT LEAST ONE COPY OF IT. Which means that you can only duplicate items that have at least one copy. At least one copy of an item means you have at least two. -------------------- |

I think we all knew that anyway. The space where the item was goes blank, and then every time you press O then X a new one is made in that gap.
There isn't much that can surprise us now that the game has been out for so many years. Having said that, I was very impressed with the Vincent Death Penalty glitch: kill over 65000 or so enemies and he'll kill anything in one shot. That only surfaced two years ago, IIRC. What would really impress me would be if there was a way to clone non-battle items like Sources. That would be brilliant. Ah. Upon reading the W-Item glitch at CoN, I was pretty stoked to find out that you could make copies of items, even if you only had one of it. I always thought you needed at least two copies.

Wow!
![]() Quote There actually is a way, but it's a bit complicated. You should only have one of the first Item you select (I'll use a potion for the explanation) and only one of the source you want to duplicate. Then you have to enter a battle with bandits (or any other enemy that can steal items). The bandit has to steal your source. Next, you have to kill him, but you have to make sure you use the potion with W-item before he dies; shouldn't be too hard if you use a spell that takes a bit of time. Now comes the trick: you'll get your source back, and in the menu it will take the place of where the potion was! From here on you can simply use the goo'ol W-Item trick and you'll duplicate the source!! (and not the potion) This trick works for all the Items that can be stolen. That's very clever. I wonder if it works though? I wish I had my PS2 here... or my TV for that matter.
