it's august now and those dog days are bound to come. anyway, just wondering, how's your summer going?

well, i've been having a pretty decent summer. i've been playing in a summer basketball league. our team sucks . i think we have a record of 2-6. I turned 16 this summer . That was pretty cool. My old bass was getting badly out of tune where I couldn't get it in tune anymore so I got a new bass and i've been jamming on it almost every day. Let's see, what else? I got a job at a movie theater. It's a pretty decent job, methinks. The pay is pretty good and the job isn't too difficult.
Right now, I'm currently visiting my dad in connecticut. We live practically on a lake so we get to do a lot of waterskiing, tubing, swimming and boating [it's a load of fun  ] i'm also practicing my golf skills for the team this fall.

anyway, how's about anyone else?

Yes, I voted for the "is it school yet?" one. You have to realize, though, that for me, school starting means I move out of my parents house again, and back to an apartment in a big city where most of my good friends live, far away from my parents and sisters ^-^

Maybe next year will be more socialble for me, since some of my buddies can drive. Wheeeeeeee.

I've been having a really nice summer, and I'm not ready for it to end, but I'm kind of ready for it to end.  I'm in the middle, but since it's voting on how it's going/how it went, I voted eight.

Well, on the plus side, I've worked on CoN5 and hung around with all the excellent folk here.

On the minus side: where the hell are any of my other friends?  All dead?  I don't know.  And I failed to (bother to) get a job.  So it's a 1: worst Summer in recent memory.

According to the block system I have 5 electives, according to the 7-class scedule, I have 4 electives. I plan on using them for fun AP courses! Then I get a job and start working on my car... $1000 bucks from my social security will get it repaired. Then My job will keep it in shape...meanwhile the other 10 checks from my social security will go into building a college fund.

That's my senoir year wrapped up.

This is one of the best summers I've had ever...however, the reason is what could also make it the worst.  My friends and I are all about to enter freshman year at college, so we've all been trying to get together a lot before everyone leaves.

3. My summer sucked. I don't have a car, and I rarely get to talk to all of my friends because I live in the middle of nowhere. The school part of school sucks, but it's where I get to see people so.
Other than that, I've just played basketball, watched tv, and gone to maybe 2 parties which were fun at least. San Diego was the highlight of the summer.

On a side note, I need a cell phone.

My summer rocked. Band show, got to see System Of A Down, did all kinda fun stuff. My only complaint about summer is the damn sunlight! There is too much of it! BOO FOR SUNLIGHT! Other than that, my summer rocked.

School starting is evil to me, because I was kicked outta my old school, and I have to start in a new school, and my deceased uncle was the vice principal there like 4 years ago, so that is going to be hell in a fruit basket. I hate school. Did I mention i hate school?
