Someone named CliverNightHigh ran into a new bug just yesterday (today?), that causes your character's levels to be lowered. To do it:
1) In the file you want to lower you levels in, normal save and then quicksave. 2) Start a new game, and playthrough WITHOUT SAVING OR QUICKSAVING until you've gotten all the characters whose level you want to lower. 3)Die. 4)You'll be returned to where you saved in your previous file, except the the levels of the characters you had gotten in the new game will be lowered to what they were when you died in that new game. All stat boosts are preserved, but max HP increases by some amount and max MP increases to 999. Just thought I'd bring this up here, as this is a rather big thing if you're doing a perfect game. Obviously, though, the later a character joins, the more difficult it'll be to lower that character's level. Interesting. Now before I stamp these papers, make sure this information is correct.

I tried it out today on the PS port; do you think it only works on certain versions of the game? It didn't work for me.
I don't know if this happens in other versions, but if you die in a new game that hasn't been saved yet, it just sends you back to the menu screen, not to another file. -------------------- |
