No, it isn't. They're currently in a large filler arc with episodes numbering in the 180s - afterward they have at least two large manga arcs prepared for them. It's very far from over.

Lets see, the last time they left the current arc to go with some fillers, was around chapter 298 in the manga, and right now it is currently at chapter 319. But according to a site I read, they have 332 chapters and is still ongoing. They also have a little look into the past in the manga, so I don't know if they will show that or not, it's about 12 extra chapters.
To be honest, it seems that Bleach will never end, unless Tite Kubo gets lazy tongue.gif. I just wish they didn't have so much meaningless fillers T__T

Bleach is far from over, both in manga and in terms of what is being shown in the anime version. The filler are necessary as the manga itself is still a recent and ongoing project, so whenever the anime manages to catch up, the fillers allow for more material to be produced. Unlike the fillers in a lot of other series (especially in Naruto) I don't mind the filler episodes that come with Bleach. The entire second season that focused around the Bounts was completely filler and I loved it.

In truth, I think Bleach is one of the only instances where I actually prefer the anime to the manga just in that I find the style of story-telling, especially given the high level of action just works better with the visual medium.

At any rate, we've been promised quite a bit more in terms of the manga for Bleach, so I imagine it means the anime is going to be ongoing as well.

The dubbed version is on episode 74 now, while the subbed version or original version is on episode 181.

I actually wouldn't classify that as a filler arc due to the constant action involved, at least that wasn't about cooking or soccer...
