I have an awful lot of Gil. Can anyone think of any ideas I can do to use the Gil?

I already have W-Item, and I can't think of any good materia to buy (seeming that I have the majority of them). The good materias aren't sold, and neither are sources.

Btw, I also bought Cloud's Villa.

Thanks

You could buy 99 of every item you can get. Pointless for the most part, but would help you spend that Gil. You could also buy some lower-powered weapons just for the heck of it.

For most games, I would definately advise maxing out each of your item stashes, just in case you run out/can't get back to a shop. In FFVII, status ailments aren't used quite as often by enemies, but heck, why not do it anyhow? I guess the only other thing to do is go to the gold saucer and blow it all there.

Thanks

I'd spend on healing and curative items, if I were you. And, if you want, buy more Materia.

Okay, number one way I blow gil is by Gold Saucer. Either betting in the races, or by running in and out of the entrance til you see the old man selling GP for 100 gil per point. Why so much GP? Battle Square, I've blown a lot of GP on Battle Square, and Gil on GP.

Also, another big purchase is the Lifetime pass for Gold Saucer, but I'm assuming you already have. Making sure you have all stables rented at chocobo farm is another one.

But, if you wanna have some fun, and basically throw your money away (Literally!) is by having your Throw Materia leveled up to its second star, that way you have the Coin ability, you basically chuck gil at your foes for damage.

i know it's a bit completionist, but, well, thats me. go and buy one of every single weapon, armour and accessory. it's a lot harder than it sounds, cos shops change dude. . . .

but it's a worthwhile and fun little quest, and it's good to trek back and see all the places that you might not have visited since the beginning of the game. . . .

Or you can do what I do, not spend any of it and brag to everyone you know that plays FFXI that you have more gil than them. More fun than it sounds lol.
