So, i was looking at some pictures of Setzer when i stumbled upon this site.They compare different char's from different games. I saw this:



Setzer, Allucard (castlevania) and Sepiroth. They look almost the same.

They all look similar, but I don't really understand the point of asking this. It's obvious that they're similar looking, but their personalities are very different, so what does it matter? I've never realized the similarities before, tho', but Square Enix has similar looking and acting characters all the time.

(Maria was the only person Setzer's ever wanted to kidnap. He's not some crazy psycho kidnapper!)

i'v always thought setzer was the inspiration for sephiroth's look. but the similarities end there. for the most part i agree except for the unfriendly part. setzer is to me is one of the wittiest characters. he seems like a person who has alot of life experience and like a guy you could hang out with. like sabin(even though they play him as stupid some times which makes me mad)

i guess since sotn and ffvii came out after 6 setzer probably inspired both.

I always had that feeling as well. However, there are several differences in appearance, enough that the two characters aren't exact copies. As mentioned before, there is a gigantic difference between sephiroth and setzer as far as personality is concerned.
