I checked, and I didn't see a topic like this already, so...
Which of your party members is your favorite? ![]() I mean, out of your permanent party members. I'll make another topic for Banon, ??????, General Leo, etc. ![]() My favorite...hmm...I think it would have to be Shadow. He's so cool! Celes and Mog would both come in at very close seconds, followed by Edgar, Strago, and Sabin. ![]() How about you? |

Sabin. He's the most powerful character, and I love the Blitz. He also has the best sense of humor.
Edit By the way, the last time I saw a topic like this was about a year ago. This post has been edited by BlitzSage on 9th March 2008 23:46 -------------------- |

I've always liked Sabin because there's only two parts of the game that he's not the most powerful, if you exclude magic, and that's when Edgar first gets the Chainsaw or if you give Offering to another character.
And your right, Blitz is unlimited and free. -------------------- |

when i first started playing VI, sabin was my favorite.
now-a-days, Umaro is my favorite. it takes some skill to get him and he is a very powerfull fighter if you have patients to level him up. 3 cheers for mog too. . .cause hes the only one with the "cohones" to rule, or should i say guide, umaro -------------------- Fairy tales do not tell children the dragons exist. Over the 15 or so years, I've played this game, every character (barring Umaro, who...is not good) has been a favorite that I've fawned over. Early on it was no-brainers (fan favorites, and suck with magic ironically) like Cyan, Locke and Sabin. Some of the last to get my eye were Setzer and Strago I believe.
Every character has their uses and detriments and are worthy of my 'favoriteness.' (Barring the aforementioned Umaro, who...is not good). Put the spotlight on me, I'll probably say Celes. - Gameplay wise she's almost top notch. Her only detriment is that Terra has better magic stats and Runic ain't useful unless you look hard for uses. So she's got that underdog thing going. - Plotwise, she's a tough imperial general, but with the soft spot of a conscience. She's never been treated like a woman until Locke came along. In the game's darkest hour, she tries to throw it all away, but instead hope in a leap of faith in a bandanna. -------------------- Really Random Quote of the Day: "Short of changing human nature, therefore, the only way to achieve a practical, livable peace in a world of competing nations is to take the profit out of war." - Richard M. Nixon So if you're done reading this, you know I have nothing to say and you've wasted your time. Thank you come again. |

Technically my favorite character from ff6 is shadow but my favorite character i used in my main party is Edgar
The reasons i like shadow is: -his story is shrouded in mystery for most of the game (makes you wonder) -his throw command schools the noobs -interceptor is a beast The reason i like Edgar is because he's a ladies man and his chainsaw rocks. |

His story is played out better than the other characters. That's why he's my inbiased pick. I wish they did the same thing for Sabin. Not the same story, but expanded on the one he had in the game. In my opinion Sabin is under used, his story could have been just as great. -------------------- |

I never really went into it, I guess because I was more focused on his exclusion from the (now removed) poll. I tend to be drawn to characters with a classical set of values and a strong sense of honor. Cyan has that and then some, and he also has a sense of maturity about him that the other characters lack, probably because he's the only non-teenager that didn't do something really really creepy (consider hitting on a 10-year old, kidnap a celebrity to force her into marriage, etc). -------------------- "I had to write four novels before they let me write comic books." -Brad Meltzer |

Cyan seemed like an older brother or father figure to Sabin. Storyline-wise it's cool because Cyan took him in as a son, because both lost people close to them. I like that he's a Samurai, and there is kind of a similarity between the Samurai and the Blitz. -------------------- |

Hehe, where to start? I have waaaaay too many favourites XD
Terra is one. Partly because she's the only female character I liked in the game and she just kicks major Empire A$$ ![]() Sabin. Cause he totally pwns XD Aaaaaand I'm kind of a fangirl of his ![]() Edgar, cuase he reminds me of my German teacher. A psyco pervert XD But seriously, he's the second most awesome guy in VI ^^ In my opinion that is, lol. I love his desperation attack too. Shadow. He's just badass. I was thinking the other day on who is the best Final Fantasy ninja, and the more I thought about it, it came to a first placee ti between him and Edge. (can't remember any ninja on the spot from before IV @.@) Yuffie, was usless in my opinion, there isn't a ninja in VIII, unless you count Selphie, purley because she uses a nakachu, but seriously, no. I love her and all, but when it comes to ninja... "I LIKE TRAINS!!!" doesn't cut it somehow ^^' Never played IX, there isn't a ninja in X is there O.o? Cept Yojimbo >:3 *laughs* That's all from me, I think O.o . . . Oh! And Gau was pretty cool too ![]() ![]() This post has been edited by Full_Metal_Mage on 22nd April 2008 20:07 -------------------- Everyone's always in favour of saving Hitler's brain, but when you put it in the body of a great white shark, you've suddenly gone 'too far' |

Favorites are Edgar and Locke. :D They're just so funny. Like the M-M-MAGIC scene. XD
Followed closely by Sabin, Celes, Cyan, and Setzer. N-not in that order. I'm not sure! :O But, but, definitely those six.
