I think Pittsburgh will win in 6, they are a little more rested and should win game 1, lose in game 2, but win games 3 and 4, lose game 5, and finish the Wings in Game 6.

I'm still absolutely livid that the Habs lost to the Flyers. I stopped following the series as closely after that because, well, I really only care about my team. Oh well, there's always next year right? Go Habs Go!

That being said, I'm pulling for Pittsburgh over the Red Wings. I think it's going to go all the way to game 7, though. It's going to be a very tight series no matter what, both teams have excellent players and have really impressed me during this year's season.

I went with the Penguins in 6, too. As much as I like Chelios, I can't root for a Detroit team (besides the Tigers.)

"Pshaw" concerning your Habs! The Flyers deserved to win! I was bummed that the Flyers lost (I know too many Flyers fans), but proud that they made it that far. I knew they were going down the minute they started to play the Penguins...but...one can hope for next year, can't they?

What's this about a good Detroit team? Er, I've never heard of their good skills this year, which is why I'm going for a Penguins win. Then again, I am completely uneducated concerning sports. Most of the Stanley Cup finals I know of go for seven games, so I guess I'll go with that. (Pittsburg's players are good, but everyone talks about Crosby and this other defensive dude.)

With the Wings having a 2-1 lead in the series, I feel it could go to 7, but I think the Penguins are gonna win the next 3 to win 4-2.

That was one of the best hockey games I've ever seen. I'm glad the Penguins brought it back home, hopefully they can force a game 7.

I haven't seen a game go into that many overtimes in a long, long time. I'm glad the Pens managed to make it that much further in the Finals and bring the next game back to home ice. I can't see them losing the next game, not at home and not after managing a win like the one they just pulled off, so I think we can fully expect this to go all the way to Game 7.

And to whoever was silly enough to say that the Flyers "deserved" to win, oh god, I really have no idea what you're talking about. Sure, they might've put the scores on the board and in the end, that's all that really matters sure, but there isn't a team more deserving than the Habs to bring home the Stanley Cup yet again, especially not after the season we pulled off this year. I can't take away that you played hard, but your victory came at faults that the Canadiens made, we hurt ourselves worse than anything.

Anyways, sorry, now is not the time or the place for that. I'm sad hockey season is coming to a close, but I'm eagerly looking forward to next season. Until then, Go Pens!

I'm not a hockey watcher, at all. But I recently met this new girl, and her friend is a die-hard Sydney Crosby fan. Long story short, we were all watching the game last night.

And wow, I mean, I just can't believe how intense the game was. Every smack near the goal had me worried. If the blackhawks were any good, I would definitely watch more often.

And one by one I watched every constellation die
And there I was frozen, standing in my backyard

I should've known, walked all the way home
To find that she wasn't here, I'm still all alone

I was never into hockey until this year, when my hockey-lover friends started shoving it down my throat.

Not much to say about the finals except that there were some seriously good games and congrats Detroit.

It makes me feel good to see that pretty much everyone thought that Pittsburgh was going to win. I thought so too. They have enough talent so I know they'll win one eventually, but I was really looking forward to seeing the Stanley Cup here in Nova Scotia this year...

HAHAHHAHAHHA! Detroit rules, you guys really underestimated the red wings. (Even though the series was incredibly, evenly matched) Even though Crosby was on fire Osgood and Franzen helped bring the Penguins to their knees! My whole family are Detroit fans and I will continue the tradition... GO REDWINGS!
