Getting Mog in WoB

Hi everyone, I'm new here. I am just about to do the floating continent in the WoB and want to clean up the "loose ends" before I do it.... and I can't seem to get Mog. When I approach Lonewolf on the cliff in Narshe (i think he is standing in front of Tritoch), it doesn't allow me to get close to him or Mog. Help!

Try bringing up your menu screen. Any time I go to remove the sprint shoes relic from the character who's wearing it, the screen cuts back to the cliff and Mog breaks free.

If memory serves, standing still close to him (As in, as close as you can get to him until he pushes you back) and waiting about 8-9 seconds without doing anything (Accessing menu may or may not count, it HAS been awhile ^^; ) should trigger Mog's reaction, having him break free and giving you your choice.

Strife you're right. Apparently I am too impatient to just stand still....
 I kept re-approaching Lonewolf and getting repelled, causing Mog to do nothing.Thanks everyone... |
