I just came across the Legend of Zelda movie, and I was wondering if anyone in here knows if it's real?

No IGN tricked us all on Aprils Fools day with that trailer, then again after watching it, it didn't look very real too me.

I know that I haven't heard anything about it. A Legend of Zelda movie would make some news. It sounds like an April Fools joke.

More to the point it looked fake just as much as it looked real. And even as a 'real' trailer, it looked like a low looooow budget "sci-fi channel original" level quality deal. And this strikes me as a franchise that's too big for the small screen if they ever decide to do anything with it.

Not to mention that a zelda movie would have to have a bit more plot then what we're used to. solving puzzles and killing bats in a dungeon might be fun to play through, but i don't know how anyone could consider watching it.

I think you underestimate puzzle-watching. Seriously though, they always had pretty good stories. Not FF caliber, but still they could do something with it. It may be the first ever movie where you watch people kill bats for 2 hours. Sounds like fun to me. -------------------- |

A Zelda movie would basically be another Indiana Jones movie, but replacing Indy with Link and a whip with a sword.
