ff 7 hard mode

http://wiki.qhimm.com/FF7/Technical/Customising does anyone know if there is a patch so you could play ff 7 in hard mode? enemies do more damage etc.? The game is much too easy after you got aware of all it´s secrets. I would be happy of a hard mode patch for advanced players:=) |

Just set yourself a challenge. For me, the most fun was:
-Only one character in battle -No materia -Initial equipment only (I.E. Buster Sword) There are some others I've tried. The "no items allowed" rule was interesting. Or there's always the popular "Speed Run" option. -------------------- Scepticism, that dry rot of the intellect, had not left one entire idea in his mind. Me on the Starcraft. |

mhh well.. i´d prefer a challenging game.
before playing with "no items" or anything i rather would challenge myself by re-programming the enemies in ff7 i already did speedrun;) This post has been edited by adi13th on 5th July 2008 11:16 |

There are so many hoaxes that have been made up about FF7 that I don't even know whether or not to believe everything from that link.. especially since it's from wikipedia, the site where anyone can post anything. The only proof you can have is if there is a source link to certain parts of the article. That I know of, there is no patch for hard mode on FF7.. I wouldn't bet my life on that though so.... anyway.. if you want something hard. Try and play the whole game without materia (granted there are a few spots where you will have to use it to progress but other than that..) it's a friggin' beast of a game. Then I did the challenge where you can't change armor or weapons. Using the initial equipping is not the easiest thing in the world to do. Anway, have fun m8
