Hi there everyone,
I'm a bit new to this site, so I'm not totally sure how everything works. Im just 13. First of all, I PLAY THE GBA VERSION. Please don't confuse me with a bunch of names of relics and items and weapons that I don't know. I have just gotten to WoR, and have gotten all the characters. Still leveling up my characters for side quests such as Fanatic's Tower, Ebot's Rock, Cyan's dream, and The Ancient Castle. I'm taking them up slowely one by one with the growth egg (always with 2 people in my party) in the dinosaur forest, north of the veldt. Im starting out with Edgar, who is now at 64. I've also been working with the cursed shield I always gotta use a ribbon. Everyone else is in their low 40's. Anyways, on to the questions.
1.) Once I go to the Ancient Castle, and come out, can I go back in?
2.) With the previous info, do you think I can do the sidequest Cyan's Dream now?
3.) This is my main party. Edgar, Locke, Celes, Cyan/Gogo. Do you think that it's decent?
4.) Can Edgar be my tank?
5.) Once I get the Offering / Master's Scroll Relic, who should I equip it to, assuming I am also going to equip that person with Genji Glove.
6.) Any better place to level up besides the Dinosaur Forest.
7.) Should I be wasting my time doing quick battles on the solitary Island for the Cursed Shield?
As you can see I am pretty confused. Plz help

3. its pretty solid, im assuming celes is the magic tank?
4.yes he can be, but i like to make Locke the tank, since you hardly steal from anything, therefore can attack more
5. I equip to locke

Aujourdhui a commence avec toi.

1.) Yes, every time you move Figaro Castle you'll get stuck.
2.) This side quest is easy, trust me. I've had Gau, Terra, and Mog al around levels 38-43.
3.) Edgar and Cyan are two of the powerful physical attacker. You might want to move one of them to another team when you confront Kefka's Tower. The third is Sabin.
4.) Edgar has decent defense, so I don't see why not!
5.) Everyone usually uses Locke. I'm using Cyan right now.
6.) Dinosaur Forest seems to be the best place to level to me.
7.) If you want to get it done. I got the curse lifted when I was training every one at the desert south of Maranda. Cactuars and Slagworms are the enemies I've killed the most since I last checked the bestiary. xD

How do you use a tank in FF6? It's not like you can direct who takes damage, except for True Knight, and that's not too helpful until it's already too late.

You can put him as first in the party, so you walk around with him. But if you want him to take damage than use Knight's Code (I think that's the Adv. version of True Knight).
