I'm just going by pure aesthetics. If I was going by power or Materia growth, choices would be obvious, so let me know which one you think looks the coolest. I know several had to be left out, so if I left out your favorite, tell me which one it is anyway lol
My personal favorite is the Hardedge, because I would rather be cut down swiftly by the good guy if I were a Shinra soldier than bludgeoned repeatedly with a flat edge lol This post has been edited by painreaver on 13th February 2008 20:52 |

Bounced between Organics and Rune Blade. I just ended up putting Rune Blade on there because I kinda liked the old-fashioned Broadsword look. Organics was pretty cool though

I think the Yoshiyuki looks marginally better than the Murasame so it's second behind Organics.

Nail Bat FTW!
Not really...  I voted Ragnarok (and everyone who has ever seen a post of mine where that word comes up knows why) Ragnarok translation = Fate of the Gods. Sweet. That, and the sword just kinda pwns. Yeah, I was gonna put an other option, but I had a brain fart and forgot. And I came so close to putting the Nail Bat on the list, but I kept laughing and decided not in the long run.
And my choices weren't arbitrary. All the ones on the list are my favorites, except Organics. I was gonna put that one on there, but decided on the Rune Blade right before I posted. Wrong choice in retrospect This post has been edited by painreaver on 15th February 2008 00:28 |

The Organics is probably the only sword that looks like it can viciously murder a monster while still having the capacity to delicately slice a pizza. It also looks like it weighs a ton, like someone threw a ship anchor into a woodchipper, creating something as equally scary-looking as the pain it inflicts. It makes a Nail Bat look like something y'use in t-ball. /similemetaphors

Of these choises my favoruite is Buster Sword.
