ok so i got to the WoR and eventually made my way over to zozo after several stops. i had edgar sabin celes and setzer in my party. i went through mt zozo and defeated the storm dragon, then went down to get cyan. he said he would join my party and then dissappeared. i assumed that since i already had a full party he would be waiting back at the airship, so i made my way back and he wasnt there; went back to his cave-house and he wasnt there. not in maranda either. so first question: how do i get my party down to 3 members so i can go search for cyan? and second question: can i even get cyan in my party now? and if so, how?

If you talked to Cyan, he joined your party. He should be in the airship's engine room.

If you ever do want to get below 4 party members at the beginning of the WoR, though, you can fly to the Phoenix Cave on the southern continent, a big volcano with a green patch in the middle. Once you land in the area, grab the hook to hop back onto the airship, and your party will be down to just Setzer, so you can put whoever you want in.

Since you (hopefully?) just missed Cyan in the engine room, this shouldn't be necessary, but thought I'd mention it anyway.

ok so after making way back to the airship i went down to the engine and found him, feeling like an idiot. haha well thanks a bunch, at least i got some xp out of it X)
