I just discovered this, on what's gotta be my 12th playthrough:

In the Cyan's dream sequence, after you see Owain and Elaine, you can head over to their apartment in Doma Castle. You get this dialogue:
Possible spoilers: highlight to view

Elaine: Sweetheart, do you love me?
Cyan: What do you want from me? A soldier doesn't say things like that
...
Cyan: I...I...loveth you...More than anything
Owain: I heard that! Yippie! "I loveth you! I loveth you!" Papa loves mama!
Elaine: Owain! Hush!
Owain: I heard that!
[they disappear]

Anyone else miss this scene?

I hear the jury's still out on...science.

That's it, you people have stood in my way long enough! I'm going to clown college!

There's a couple if you explore the castle before the Wrexsoul battle. Another one I remember is
Possible spoilers: highlight to view
outside in the courtyard, where Cyan is training his son to fish.

Is this dialogue on the advanced version? If it isn't, I've never seen it.

I've never seen that, or even heard of it.

When I played through this I made sure I saw all of these little sequences. But that was a while ago, I've forgotten most of it now.

p.s. Wrexsoul was an arsehoul to beat.

Yea, I just beat him today. LOL. and it definitely is the longest battle for FF6 in my opinion. But what I heard by others... Kaiser is much longer.... lol.

And yea, I'm glad silvermike pointed this out or I woulda missed it again like the first 5 times. thumbup.gif

I believe there are a total of three additional cutscenes in doma during the dream sequence.

Cyan, Elaine, and Owaine's Room

Outside the Castle, ground level, North East by the water.

Outside the Castle, ground level, North West by the wall.

These cutscenes ARE in the advanced version, like the cid/setzer scene in WoB these are easy to miss.

Ive seen the cid scene, but never any of the Cyan/Setzer scenes at all!

After playing through the game like 1 million times, you'd think i wouldve noticed something like this.

By the way, where in the heck do you see the setzer/cid scene in WoB?

<Mother>TIIIIIIMMYYY...are you planning evil, unkind revenge again in the bathroom??
