Instead of trying to make a comic. Perhaps just take snippets from the game that you could do something with (perhaps something with Ultros or Gau, anything). If you try and stick to the games plot. There are a lot of scenes that you would struggle to make funny. So, perhaps spread it out and worry about joining it together later.
