Was he ever aware of the Lucavi plot? I don't recall anything in the game that might imply that he knew what the Temple Knights were really up to. Had he never been informed by anybody...? Ramza, Orran? (I would assume Orran knew, as the Durai Papers document the Lucavi Plot, as it would seem)
Share your thoughts, I'm very curious as to whether Delita was aware of the Lucavi's involvement in the War of the Lions- at all. -------------------- FFIVDS looks awesome, right? Especially the character scans. I mean, look at that CGI scan of Yang. You see it and you just think...badass. And then you look at his polka-dot pants, likely stolen from a Dr. Seuss book. And then you just...shiver. |

I remember something in the original game's plot, some small allusion in only one scene where, in response to a question, Delita said something that implied he was relying on Ramza to take care of the Church's plot, so that he could complete his own agenda. The only reason I specify the original is because I think the focus of the conversation was shifted to Delita using Ramza in the PSP version.
That said, it's been a really long time since I last actually paid close attention during the scenes, so I may be mistaken. |

delita knows of the church's plot, and he allows ramza to continue on and save orlandu because he knows they will be able to stop the church, without delita ever having to get his hands dirty

I am pretty sure he is aware of it. i think i remember a conversation between him and Ramza in the church talking about the High Priest's plot. Delita helps Ramza kill Zalmo, but doesn't get anymore involved. He is a self-centered guy and really only cares about himself so he kinda shrugs it all off on Ramza. You will also notice how he only cares about his own aspirations of being king. Delita is one of my favorite characters, but only really cares about himself. He basically used the Princess(fake princess) to get what he wanted. That is how I basically interpreted it. I am kinda curious to hear other's thoughts on this issue.

I originally believed that he was not aware, but have changed my mind over the years. He is the closest thing to an omniscient player in the storyline. He was most definitely pulling every string in the game.

Delita was sick of being used by the nobles and decided to do some 'using' of his own he is a very smart man, i wouldnt say he pulled all of the strings but he was definitely in charge of a whole lot that happened in the game

I think Delita should have stepped up and supported Ramza after the whole conflict was over, instead of forcing him and Alma into exile. After all, Ramza wasn't responsible for what happened to Teta, and Ramza put an end to the church's wicked ways. Delita is a very intriguing character, but I don't think I like him like I used to. He's self serving, and after swearing on Teta's soul he'd be good to the Princess, he uses her and
