Yes, yes I have... in fact its one of my favorite fights! cuz generally, I always have at least one of my guys a monk, and to see my monk whoop on their monks is a nice slice of teh awesome. In those situations, I'll just have Ramza yelling at my monk, and healers be buffing him and such, you get my point. Either way, it's a fun fight.

Ahh, my favorite random encounter, this fight is tough, but beatable. The hard thing is that you're outnumbered 11 to 5. Another thing is that Grog Hill is mostly flat, allowing the Monks to use Charka and Revive at ease. Personally, I never lost this battle and none of my units have ever been crystalized, but I've never beaten it w/o at least one of my units KO. There may also be female Monks in this battle also

The monk battle is my second favorite random battle, behind the "super battle" that rarely occurs at bariaus hill. You know, the one with the hydras, dragons and behemoths...

Quote (BuzbySlimsEsquire @ 27th May 2008 02:45) The monk battle is my second favorite random battle, behind the "super battle" that rarely occurs at bariaus hill. You know, the one with the hydras, dragons and behemoths... Oh God I hate that one, I have yet to beat that one since all of them are rare monsters so I'm tempted to try & hunt all of them. Also did you know sometimes there's also an enemy Red Chocobo. There's also a chance that you have a Black Chocobo Guest also -------------------- In order to find your oppenent's weakness, you must first learn their pattern.
