Quote (BlitzSage @ 9th March 2008 19:53) I think Kefka is alive. I'd hate to come off as picky, but... Possible spoilers: highlight to view because Kefka absorbed all of the magic from the Goddess Statues (aka the Warring Triad), his death meant the dissaperance of magic. You can clearly tell that that occurrs at the end of the game because the magicite shatter and Terra loses her Esper abilities. It's the reason why he's an option on the poll. He died. I can't remember if I actually posted in this topic or not, but i think Daryl should have lived. It broke my heart on the scene where Setzeer went to retreive the Falcon

The possibility of a sequel for FF VI is not out of the question, but the possibility that an internet petition will affect the situation is a joke. I'm just being realistic. And who should have lived? Eh, I dunno. Most of the deaths in the game had their reasons for occurring, and the only ones I can think of that lacked poignancy or relevance were maybe Arvis and Banon. What purpose did their deaths serve? To further crush the hopes of the rebuilding world? Eh, I guess so. But I think their deaths at least should have been addressed directly instead of assumed and ignored. -------------------- |

Their deaths are never shown, but they are presumed to be dead because they do not show up in WoR, which I personally think that is a shame. Now that I think about it, Arvis and Banon are the only ones who should've (or could've) lived. They both could have greatly added to the story. It may have been slightly more linear, but they could have done a lot more with them.

ok final fantasy was far from linear, it all lead to the same place, but each char had a reason to hat the empire.
