Hey,
I've got an idea or a wish to do some auto-battling. Here's what I've got so far: The materia I'm interested in levelling up in triple and double growth weapons and armors. I've got sneak attack paired with restore on cid's weapon, he also has mega all so that cure hits everyone. I've got a turbo controller tapping circle in the midgar zolom swamp. Sounds good right? Only problem is I run out of mp after a while on cid. Any idea's or other ways of doing this? This post has been edited by mooncow321 on 18th November 2007 23:48 |

maybe you can try an offensive materia + sneak attack
same offensive materia + HP drain another same offensive materia + MP drain. and the same offensive materia + all (or since you have mega all you shouldn't need that combo) I used it with gravity for HP/MP drain and all at the same time. Rarely ran out of mana. It should be quiet effective for auto battles too. (if that seems to be too much, i guess you can also try,... mega all, cure, offensive (or gravity) + MP drain and i think there is an item that cast regen on you in FF7, not sure >_> but it'll save you lots of materia slots if there is. Ah I found the answer.
Tetra elemntal's in a place where the enemy uses elemntal attacks. . thus regaining hp. South of mideel on the beach pressing down as well as circle. It's working so far... |

Is there any special reason you're fighting the Midgar Zolom? If not then tape either left and L1 (making Cloud run in circles) or tape up at a cliff or beach (Cloud will go left then right). You'll fight monsters that won't do nearly the same damage and in the long run you'll still master the materia.
For healing, use Cat's Bell instead of materia. It's a little trick I found when I was getting Vincent to kill 65000 enemies. Don't equip Enemy Lures so that you get plenty of steps to increase HP. -------------------- Scepticism, that dry rot of the intellect, had not left one entire idea in his mind. Me on the Starcraft. |
