Etrian Oddesey is a really hard RPG developed by i think Squre-enix, and it is an old-school, it took me 3 months to beat, and i played it every day for 2 hours, type of game. It is for the DS, and there is a class system, and guild system, not really too sure about that, i am waiting for it to arrive in he mail. You make trips into a dungeon, and you can make a map on the touch screen as you go along, and how fast you are getting out, to avoid being crushed by rocks, deponds on how good the map is. I think that is the point of the map, not really sure, still waiting for it to come in hte mail. I can't wait

Wait... so you've beaten it, but you're still waiting for it to arrive in the mail? Color me confused. And it isn't developed by Square-Enix, it's developed by Atlus. And you're a pervert? Why is that relevant?

Well, I played it, and it was pretty brutal. The customization system and map drawing interfaces are really neat, but the game requires gratuitous amounts of boring grinding via difficult random battles and more-difficult battles with visible enemies. And the plot? "There's a big dungeon called The Labyrinth. Please get to the bottom of it. End plot." No thanks. My tastes are pretty oldschool, but this game was too oldschool for me. I decided to return it a few weeks ago, before the price depreciates much.

Your first post wasn't very clear at all. I can see what you meant now, but better punctuation would have made your meaning clear to the first person who read it without a clarification from you. Try to make sure your posts use proper grammar, etc., and they'll receive a more positive response.

Why state that you are a "hentai" if it has nothing to do with anything?

As for Etrian Odyssey, I heard it was pretty much a big grind. That sort of thing doesn't interest me anymore.

TouchDetective2 is the only DS game from Atlus that has my attention right now.
I've already begun my ninja-like plans to appropriate a DS from lax owners so I
don't have to miss out on it; the series reminds me of a funnier Case Closed.

Atlus has brilliance in their oldschool flavor, but not necessarily a tremendous
amount of deliciousness to go along with those well-implemented ideas. The only
place I'm willing to grind right now is Ivalice!
