Inspired by this list of actual last meals, imagine you're on death row. What would your last meal be?

I'd probably opt for a full-on roast dinner with beef, yorkshire puddings, sweetcorn, potatoes, broccoli, green beans, red peppers, roast onions, those sausages wrapped in bacon, all slathered in thick gravy. Fresh-squeezed orange juice and dime bar cake for dessert. Either that or a KFC boneless bucket, with a zinger salad on the side, a few cokes, a tub of the pepper mayonnaise they put in the mini fillets for dipping and a tub of cookie-dough icecream. The first is a classier option, I guess, but I do love KFC.

How about you?

Easily the delicous - oh so fattening - Poutine. Its Fries Gravy and Melted cheese all together creating a city of delicousness. So maybe a pile of that and I guess Root Beer and Pepsi.

Man, some of those guys on the list of last meals had about three or four meals worth of food, not that I blame them. It's funny to go down the list because hamburgers and fried chicken are all over it.

I think I'd probably go with some lobster sandwiches, some chocolate milk, and some oreos - no, Pirate cookies - and then as they're killing me, I'm going to chant a pirate curse and come back to haunt the world as a...well, a pirate...no, a pirate ninja.

Either, four chickens and a coke or some dry white toast.

My last meal? I'd rather just get things over with. Never been too big on food - my apetite is nearly inexistant.

A last cocktail, though, would be just great. I'm not sure what I'd order though. I could go with a sidecar; that's the first "real" cocktail I ever mixed. It'd be kinda symbolic. A glass of Blue Label on the rocks would be great too - how often can you enjoy something 25 years old?

Truthfully, I'd go with a Gin & Tonic. Easily one of my favorite cocktails. Maybe a side-order of pretzels. Y'know what, actually? I'll have a negroni as an aperitif (that drink and I go way back smile.gif ), eat a huge t-bone steak (medium-rare) with some fries (the good kind!), and then a Gin & Tonic or two as a digestive (with a twist of lemon.)

Not only will I leave a fat corpse behind, with enough G&Ts I'll be too wasted to stress out over the whole death thing. I'll go to my grave with an unworried grin on my face. biggrin.gif

I'd go with coconut shrimp with a creamy ginger sauce, a thick swordfish steak marinated in olive oil and grilled to perfection, and beer battered onion rings with ketchup. I would have 2 pints of Harpoon India Pale Ale to drink. Then I'd be ready for the lethal injection cool.gif

You sure you're from Ontario? That's pretty Quebecois of you. I didn't think you guys had decent poutine outside the borders of La Belle Province.

At any rate, I'd probably go with one of everything off the McDonald's menu, one of every Subway sandwich, a Baconator burger, a ridiculous amount of fries and like, four racks of ribs. Poutine would be essential. Just in the time it'd take me to eat all that, I'd have extended my death date by at least a day or two. I'd probably wash it all down with a bottle of rum, a few forties of Colt 45 and a nice amount of tequila shots. Might as well do myself in on alcohol poisoning and die happily intoxicated than get the needle or deep fried on the inside by the electric chair.

I like the way you think, DF. A good, substantial last meal.

I'd start with a double order of Buffalo Joe's hot wings with extra sauce (look it up if you're in Evanston. No better wings anywhere.) Then go with a Filet Mignon (Medium Rare), swing entirely in the other direction with 2 McDonald's double cheeseburgers, A big bacon classic from Wendy's, 3 Arby's Roast Beef Sandwiches, a footlong salami sub from Fontano's (Chicago Deli) and an order of Mongolian Beef from Pineyard (Evanston again.) Wash it all down with a gallon of Arizona Green Tea & Lemonade.

If I have to go, I'm going out full.

I'd probably do the entire Christmas thing. Chicken, AND roast beef (free range, it tastes better and is less cruel), mashed potatoes, squash, stuffing, that turnip carrot thing, spinach, peas, boatloads of butter and gravy, (arteries? Who cares? Maybe if they're hard enough they can't inject me happy.gif ) Although it would all have to be made by my dad.

If there was any way to get it guilt and cruelty free (quasi-vegitarian to the last) I would love some poutine or Chicken soup. I could eat buckets of both.

OK, reading this thread has gotten me so hungy, that I'm re-posting.

Some marinated flank steak in soy sauce, an overstuffed pastrami and corned beef sandwich, some fried chicken Paprikash, two baked potatoes (one with butter and bacon salt and the other with cayenne pepper and a splash of Tobasco), a plate of curly fries, a plate of steamed pork dumplings, a platter of cheese tortellini, a plate of baby carrots, some spinach a la madeleine, a large mug of Sam Adams Scotch Ale, and for dessert a french vanilla ice cream sundae with raspberry, passion fruit, and black currant sorbet. Now that's a way to go.

I'm having a PB&J for lunch.

I hate you all so much. pinch.gif

Last meal? I would want something sentimental. My wife's homemade spaghetti, with the garlic frenchbread that she makes so delicious, and a salad with all the extra little things that she cuts up and puts in there. To drink would be wild cherry Kool-Aid, my three children's favorite. Desert would be my wife's home made strawberry cobbler with a big chunk of melting vanilla icecream on it.

Now that I've though long and hard about this, I will now give my answer. A 2 foot turkey sub with tomato, avocado, lettuce, Dijon, mayo, muenster cheese, and thin deli turkey on toasted bread. Toasted pumpkin seeds seasoned with old bay, and 2 bottles of every single flavor of Gatorade ever conceived.

Edit
ALSO 5 bottles of Mountain Dew Pitch Black.

My favorite meal of all time is hot pizza and a cold beer (Sam Adams). However, for a last meal, I'd go with a big, juicy, medium-well filet mignon or angus steak with butter-whipped mashed potatoes (somethin' I could cook real well) and steamin' mixed vegeatables smothered in salt 'n' pepper. I'd still go with the Sam Adams. As for dessert, I'd go with a fresh, out-of-the-oven, cherry/banana cream pie.

After readin' others' replies, it took me a while to decide on somethin'.

Let's see.... I'd have mashed potatoes with corn on them, lots and lots of pickles and a ton of cranberry sauce. I'd add some KFC chicken to that along with a chocolate milkshake from the local ice cream shop (their milkshakes ROCK). I'd have a piece of every chocolate bar that I like for desnert. I'd have more chocolate, but I'm afraid after all that I'd explode.

I dunno what they call it in English, but...
and If it's my last meal while i'm about to die...

Raw spiced (king?) crab. and other raw meat
why? coz those things taste so good (especially raw crab => ) but as everyone of you know, they aren't safe to eat. Parasites in raw meat starts from the ones that binds to (but not limited to ^^) your liver to brain.

but if it's my last meal on earth...it's dam worth it happy.gif
edit: narratorway's post make me drool... might as well try raw shrimp with spicy on to see if they're good xD

An Arby's roast beef sandwich loaded with Arby's sauce, no question. Nothing makes me happier! Unless of course curly fries were added.

But since it would be a last meal, I'd stuff anything I could in, so I would also add a Filet Mignon from a Morton's Steakhouse, mashed potatoes, a Shrimp Cocktail with cocktail sauce loaded with horseradish, a large bowl of Lobster Bisque, and a tall glass of Yuengling to wash it all down.

With any luck, I wouldn't be able to make it to the capital punishment room.
