Looks good, slim him down a bit so the rest of the body seems to fit and you should have him almost perfect.

Now that is the perfect fan art for all of those who have been asking for leaner moogles. I love his six-pack.

You know something always bothered me about that fight with the moogles. For creatures that are dwelling in caves and dont really have a sound dialect like ours, where did they get those weapons? I've been trying to figure this out. I'm also curious why they'd help locke in the first place? he was an outsider and the gaurds were from around that area.

I would assume these moogles would have encountered humans once in a while. They know that beings like Locke existed, and they've either developed weapons themselves after finding human weapons or stolen human weapons from dead corpses.
It's not stated clearly how they decided to help Locke, however, we know that espers have the ability to communicate with moogles (as demonstrated with Mog joining your party), so perhaps the esper in the mines (Tritoch, I think) warned them about the invasion of the guards to get Terra. One never really knows. -------------------- |

If i am to disern things correctly, tirtoch wasn't actively "consious" durning his ice imprisonment. He did free terra yes but as it was stated later when you get him he wonders if the war could of lasted a thousand years (meaning he was probably in a dream like state the entire time.) but it's not only that, the moogles knew how to use the weapons. Something that unless seen by other individuals wouldnt be a trait they couldn't just pick up from no where.

Who said that just because they are fluffy creatures they can't make contact with humans and can't learn from them a bit? I don't know, but perhaps they watched them use weapons from afar of there's a Human-Moogle treaty active in their world.
You're right about the Tritoch thing. My new theory is that they stumbled upon the fight and decided to side with the comatose girl. -------------------- |

Wow, this is a good question. I just kind of took it for granted that the Moogles walked into the situation knowing who the "good guys" and "bad guys" are.
Maybe the moogles had been watching Terra go through the caves earlier, and saw the soldiers (or guards, whatever) chasing her. Maybe they felt sorry for her when she fell, and wanted to help somehow. But as for the weapons, well, I don't think the game had Mog's weapons being moogle-sized, right? I think he had to deal with weapons made for a human. I guess it doesn't make perfect sense. but they're cute, so it's okay! ![]() -------------------- |

I'm not sure what the word "pontificating" means, but I surely am taking no offense to your moogle musings.
Maybe the moogles are just angry at the Narsheans for digging mines into their natural cave system. What *are* they mining, anyway? Coal? -------------------- |

And yes, I think they're mining coal, among other products. I have worked that loose end into my fanfic. As far as moogles helping people goes, maybe they realize Terra is in danger and that the brash guards want her dead for stuff she didn't do. Espers seem to comminicate with moogles, as Mog says Ramuh came to him in a dream if you recruit him in the WOB. And maybe the moogles think the guards are assholes. |

You mean, duplicate Sabin in various poses? Yeah, I guess so. But the bum rush occurs in the WoR, so I hope by then I'll have figured out a cooler way of depicting it, you know?
Personally, the thought of drawing Sabin scares me. All those muscles... -------------------- |

Okay this comic is goooood. <3
Your art has improved greatly from the first page! Terra looks much less masculine, though she still needs a bit of work, and things just look good altogether - the coloring is done REALLY well and gives it more of a professional feel. Also - I was really surprised with how well the dialogue seems to flow. The soldier coming up to Narshe, for instance, is well-done, like the fight seen where the moogle goes, "Kupo! <3" and the bit where Arvis kicks Locke out. I also like the attention to detail - Locke sipping his tea, the crunchy noises in the snow, and him pouring Arvis a new drink. I was all D< at his brown hair at first, because I think of him as grey, but you've got me hooked. I cannot WAIT for more, and I would be happy as all heck if you managed to finish the entire game. I've been waiting for ages for something like this! Wonderful art; keep it up! You can only improve. <3 -------------------- The opera was only performed in English ONCE. T_T Hey, FF artists! It would be awesome if you could create some better form of organization for your pages, like a listing with a link to each page. that way visitors wouldn't have to advance through all of them, one by one.
