I have a question for the PS3, I'm just wondering whats the main difference in the 20,60, and 80 gig. Like is there extra content that you can download or is it just pointless?

well, the obvious answer would be theres more storage. (there is extra stuff you can downloadon the ps store like movies trailers, game trailers, demos, etc.) but you cant get the 20 gig anymore anyway....

Aye, you can no longer get the 20 gig one.

If you're asking which one is the better buy, go for the 60 gig one. It has roughly 90% backwards compatibility with PS2 games (not sure about PS1 games), while the 80 gig one has roughly 50%. Since it's also less expensive, the choice is pretty clear, in my opinion.

And for those outside North America, you ought to find if your PS3 can run certain games via the correct national site here: http://faq.eu.playstation.com/bc/

IIRC, this site isn't as detailed on the issues that occur, but should be useful enough as a guide.

Thanks for the replys, but I heard that the higher gig ones run PS3 game smoother. Is that correct or are those people just dont know what they're talking about?

There's no technical reason why a larger hard disk should do that, unless an individual game needed to use the whole thing to avoid ever reading off optical media.

Unless there's some other internal difference in the 80GB version.
