There's been imp equipment since day 1.
You'll want to get ahold of an Imp Partisan, Tortoise Shield, Imp Armor, and a helm whose name I forgot. You can win a couple of them at the colloseum, but CoN's coverage is bound to be your best reference. With these items, imp someone and equip them all. You'll notice your normally-pathetic equipment will suddently become massively powerful. -------------------- "Judge not a man by his thoughts and words, but by the quality and quantity of liquor in his possession and the likelyhood of him sharing." |

i think you misunderstood, i've known of the imp equipment, but i dont know where to get them. ive already gotten the impartisan from the t-rex things in the dinosaur forest, but where are the others? i wanted to see just how powerful the full set is on an imped character.

You should reread his post. He already told you how to find out where they are all located. The CoN databases have all the Imp Equipment's locations:
Tortoise Shield Titanium Helm Imp's Armor And you already have the Partisan so I won't bother linking you to that. Next time try searching CoN before asking a question. -------------------- Is PJ |

no, what i meant by 'where are they' i meant where are the monsters that give them. it just says, overworld map, ive been looking around and cant find the monster named 'sprinter' but it probably has a different name in the gba version, but nothing has given the imp armor yet, i searched the site earlier and got the titanium helm and the shield, but i cant find any sprinters, so i thought they might appear in a certain area of the map.

I think I remember fighting them in the continent on the left part of the map. With Jidoor and such. Try fighting there for a bit and see if you can find one.

I remember getting all my imp equipment through betting surplus imp equipment at the Coliseum -- bet an Imp Halberd for a Tortoise Shield, and so forth. If you still can't find the monsters in a little while, try checking a Coliseum chart and see if you can do it that way.

I checked before. Sadly, there's no way to get Imp Armor from betting there. You can get the other items, IIRC, but not the Armor. Really unlucky.

Even if the names changed (and they mostly did), their sprites are all the same. You can use that to your advantage. It might be more helpful later on, since the Sprinters are in the area around Jidoor. -------------------- Oh sure, I don't have to get kicked in the junk to activate it, but I like it anyway. -- Thief commenting on the difference between Throw and Blue Magic. |

Sprinters appear most frequently on the grass terrain in the northeastern area of the world map, which encompasses Doma and the dinosaur forest. The other possible encounter is with Tumbleweeds which carry the helmet portion of the imp equipment (Titanium on the SNES) to steal.
Kudos to Dijbriel's walkthrough for this information. It also showed me that wasteland and grass terrain hold different enemy formations even on the same area of the map. |
