There's a difference between 'favorite' and 'greatest of all time', yo.
I like fighting Zalera for all the messed-up magic he has (Gravi2, Toad2, etc.) and the setting is pretty cool as well, so I'll go with him. That's the only place you can see Flare2 if I'm not mistaken. Rawr! -------------------- It's gonna be a glorious day I feel my luck can change |

If you were to gameshark Elmdor into your game, you would find Sword Spirit glitched and without many of the Draw Out skills. If you could use it, they would be a little more powerful than regular Samurai skills but when you lack six (I think it was) skills, Draw Out seems a lot better.
It'd be nice to rename 'Draw Out' to 'Sword Spirit' though. I'd do it in a heartbeat. -------------------- It's gonna be a glorious day I feel my luck can change |

Probably Zombified Zalbag. The fight is emotional, and you don't get that often in games.

I might have to say the battle against Dycedarg. The mis-translation makes it confusing.
Plus, you get to have Zalbag on your team. |

i like the dycedarg battle. i realised half way through killing him aafter taking out his knights that he had a sword i didnt. so i killed zalbag and stole it!....then i killed him
but i like the Kletian, Rofel, Vormav battle. thats always a good laugh on my part, i reduce them to critical hp or as low as i can before they retreat, then i stat break em for kicks....then kill them all with a well placed Holy Explosion -------------------- Aujourdhui a commence avec toi. |

Now that I've beaten the game, I like the battle with Dycedarg. It's even funnier that it illuminates his sprite like any other 'defeat so-and-so!' battle.
I also like the final battles...even though they were really confusing (like most of the rest of the game). -------------------- |

my favorite boss was the one on one fight with Wiegraf. awesomeness. I love Wiegraf almost as much as I love Delita. While the Zodiac fights are cool, none of them would be considered my favorite - it just takes a little something extra to make it a great battle. I like fighting Elmdor on top of Riovanes (someone kill the doctor that gave Rafa her labotomy please - if oyu don't have a ninja, prepare to have a headache instead) and the Zalbag fight is also a favorite. I was way too happy when i killed dycedarg. I also like any fight in which Delita is on your team. especially vs. Zalmo - Delita's comments are so awesome: "Now that you've seen me I cannot let you live!" "Are you still so naive? Well then, good luck!" "come on Ramza, let's kill them!"
what a bad ass. -------------------- |

My favorite is Algus. In addition to just being someone I love to kill for what he does, it's one of the more difficult battles in the game (at least for me) -- he doesn't have any flashy skills, but at that point neither does anyone on your team.

My overall fave fight is the fight w/ Altima! I loved being able to wail on her with all of my special characters and kick her ass in about 5 minutes. Plus, the satisfaction of finally beating the game made it all the sweeter!

I'm torn between Wiegraf and Algus.
In Wiegraf, I always liked his attitude, and the fact that he's a general badass. It feels soooo good smacking down Algus though... -------------------- With the lights out It's less dangerous |

the altima fight was very lackluster to me. I thought many of the other fights in the game were done better, and Altima was the last boss, not too good. The female version was pretty cool looking, even if they were both incredibly weak. Hashmalum was much harder. I do like having alma on your side though. I'd go save my sister if somebody kidnapped her, and it was cool that Ramza finally reached her.

My favorite boss would have to be Elmdor and his assassins. Am I the only one that wishes I had an assassin like Celia or Lede in my party? My 2nd favorite battle would have to be against Izlude. Wasnt difficult at all but I just like the whole setup, music and Izlude is pretty cool in his own way.

Elmdor was pretty cool to fight, but overall I'd have to give my props to Wiegraf.
First a temple knight, then a white knight, then a holy knight, then a zodiac monster?? He goes through more class changes than Ramza himself, or Delita. His zodiac monster fight was actually the hardest fight in the game IMO. Try without yelling. It's hard folks. He killed all my guys and gals except good ol' Agrias. She made him eat it with Lightning Stab. "275 DAMAGE! Whose the better Holy Knight now b*tch?! Females own in this game!" -------------------- "You say life is sacred, makes you feel noble. Velius. The whole scene encompasing the two battles was awesome, both in atmosphere and in difficulty.

MY favorite would have to be the fight against Kletian but that maybe is so becuase Kletian is my favorite video game character of any game ever made.
I also really like the fights against gafgarion and Elidibs was pretty damn cool too. Pitch black boss fight with a never-before-seen summon. Pretty cool. |

Elmdor was cool. Also I loved the battle against Gafgarion when Ramza is separated from the rest of your team.
The lamest boss for me was Elidibs. At that point in the game I was expecting so much more... |

Quote (shadowone @ 21st April 2007 21:34) Elmdor was cool. Also I loved the battle against Gafgarion when Ramza is separated from the rest of your team. The lamest boss for me was Elidibs. At that point in the game I was expecting so much more... That battle is pretty simple. A party made of knights, a mage and a archer destroy their a** in 3/4 Turns. Also for that battle i made something special to my knight and i made this Lvl: 23 Knight -> Blood Knight Knight - Battle Skills Geomancing Techniques Weapon Guard Attack Up Move+1 Blood Sword Gold Shield Cross Helmet Plate Mail Power Wrist. And i absorb something like 150 hp a turn. Obviously that you can do with just one of your other four soldiers (plus ramza) -------------------- #1 Italian in The Caves of Narshe :D Mercenary Dark Knight Knight: Great, here comes a crowd! Quote (KingDelita @ 23rd October 2006 22:58) I do like having alma on your side though. I'd go save my sister if somebody kidnapped her, and it was cool that Ramza finally reached her. When I think about it, the last battle really is my favorite, and this is the biggest reason why. After all the suffering and fighting, in the depths of hell itself, fighting the very incarnation of evil, two siblings are finally reunited, and they fight together. Just awesome. It was also fun seeing Altima cast Ultima on Alma, and then having her sling it back at him. I like Clerics.
