For me, Terrato, with Phoenix coming in at a close second. Terrat always as my favorite esper, and still is. I know he's not as strong as Bahamut, the other Draconic, but Terrato was the only one I would ever use. Megaflare is just a souped up Ultima, whereas Terrato rips open the ground, causes a MASSIVE energy column to shred the enemies, then restores the field to perect status. Not to mention that he is cool beyond belief.

I'd probably pick Maduin. His attack was neat, and he was one of the more prolific espers, alongside Tritoch and Ramuh. Besides, he was wicked cool looking.

Carbunkle! He's so cute! And Reflect is handy.

Second place would be Fenris, cuz I like wolves or Bismark, cuz I like whales.

Based on that, it'd have to be Shiva. Cuz I like naked blue women...

Seriously? Probably Golem. There's something about not taking damage in fistfights which appeals to me.

Palidor definitely. He's my favorite esper and one of my favorite summons of all time (I renamed FFX's Valefor as Palidor). Even if the enemy can do an instant kill attack to your entire party, your entire party won't be there because they fall back down at intervals. Mondo cool!

If I was using the sharkerbob method I would pick Starlet. wub.gif Group Hug wub.gif

Just remember folks, cute and small always defeats big and ugly. It's an anime rule. And Square games are anime-ish, so it works.

Seriously though, I'd also pick Carbunkle because he teaches Haste and Warp. These spells are a godsend in any FF game; I'm all about super speed and teleportation.

...who is?

Anyway, I was gonna take Odin or something, but yeah, nuking towns sounds like fun so I'm gonna have to go for Bahamut... Cos real lifes nothing like anime, big and detectable on air traffic control beats everything except SAM's and the RAF.

Golem is incredibly useful throughout the game, he makes fights against Gigantos and Dirt Dragon a joke and is useful against any boss that has powerful physical attacks.

The way you word the question makes it seem to me that you're asking which would we rather have with us in real life. Based on that, I'd have to agree with Del S and say Bahamut. Giant explosion-breath dragons seem like they would be handy in a pinch.

If I'm wrong and you're asking about in-game, I'd say Crusader. I loves me some meteor and merton, and the 50% bonus to MP is nice as well.

I voted for Bahamut, just because he's cool.

Really, having any of the summons would be sweet. Well, except Crusader.

Well, I won't vote, because it's a tough decision. Fenrir's Level Bonus was great, and it's X-Zone spell was handy. But then there's Bahamut, who's Level Bonus rocked even more, and it's attack was strong. And Flare was good, too. Then there's Ragnarok...Ultima, hands down.

But anyways...you'll all get bored to death if I say everything that I have to say. tongue.gif

Phoenix! I could cast it, then do whatever I want without the fear of dying. If I wanted, I could use it then get hit by a train only to be revived.

Gotta go with Pheonix, second chance at life is always good. Plus, you could kill someone and then bring them back, threaten them and make them do whatever you wanted them too.

I choose... TERRA!!! (hey, she counts right? and there's nothing perverted about my choice, so don't worry) If she ever wanted to, she could just transform, pick up a sword, and thus be the strongest esper of all. Nothing could touch her... or me!!
