I never knew Celes threw herself off a cliff is Cid dies...man, I wish I'd killed him. I'd heard of that scene often but never recalled it in the game.

Is it an emotional scene? Is it worth watching?

it was a pretty good scene. she thought she was all alone in the world, and so she just jumped off in a sad attempt to end her life. fortunately, it didn't work, and (i think: its been a while) she then washed up on a continent, and then continued the story.

when fighting final version of kefka/sephiroth/guildenstern: "How do they all get wings and become angelic? i don't want to be angelic, but why can't i have wings?!?"

Celes washes up on the beach by Cid's hut and finds a bird with Locke's bandana tied to it, which gives her hope that the others are out there somewhere. So she uses the raft in Cid's basement and drifts to Albrook.

People seem to miss the fact that one of Kefka's wings is bat-like.

jump into the waterfall on their way to the Veldt and as if that weren't hardcore enough they have to fight monsters the whole way down as they fall and it takes at least 4 or 5 minutes! This must be the tallest waterfall ever! XD

OPERA HOUSE -
Isn't the opera house kind of in the middle of nowhere? I mean most of it's patrons live in Jidor so why isn't right next to Jidor? If the world map represents the entire planet and their planet is a similar size to ours then the opera house must be hundreds or even thousands of miles away!

Okay, so the world is torn asunder and contenents are split, sea beds rise from the ocean, and sections of earth sink below the waves but most of the major towns and landmarks are saved from destruction. Wow. The towns people are actually quite lucky.

That leads me to another thought: I guess falling from a great height holds no garuantee of death in FFVI because most of the characters fall off of the Black Jack too.

Okay, I just finished going through the Phoenix Cave again and how the heck does Locke get through there? If it normally takes two parties to get past all the traps and obsticals then Locke must be holding out on some special tricks he used to get in there! Come on Locke, how'd you get in there?

Why is it that whenever one of your characters dies you can just use a Phoenix down or a Raise/Arise spell (or an inn :D), but whenever someone dies in the storyline (Leo, Rachel) they have to stay dead?

Also, when diving in the Serpent Trench, Sabin and co. seem to ignore the fact that there are THREE people and ONE diving helmet.

Uh, because they're extra dead?

The difference is when you need a phoenix down its because your KO'ed, not dead. Also, why is it that if you sleep in battle you dont get healed. I mean, its the same thing right?

If odin turns to raiden after leveling up from a tear does that mean yura would eventually become Maduin? What was the name of the elder and how come he is really the only unique looking one? How the heck can terra remember all that when she was two?

Why doesnt setzer just modify the falcon to have a casion in it?If he found the falcon and restored it why heck couldn't he do the same with the blackjack?

What would be the perpous of having an imp robot or a talkobo? Would they make good fighting compaions? If you have as much as that guy or more why can't you bid on the items?

If kefka was so powerful to begin with why did he wait so long to take over the world?
Why is it a band of only 12 or so people are the only ones who have the guts to stand up to the empire and kefka?

Whenever I play Sabin's scenario and I get to the part where Cyan is introduced I can never quite get a firm grasp on how

the poison Kefka used on Doma Castle works. I mean how does it kill everyone in the castle except for Cyan and one lone subordinate? As far as I can tell maybe the poison turns into a gas and it kills everyone in the castle but maybe since Cyan is up in the highest tower it doesn't reach him. Maybe. . .

I also wonder what happened to that subordinate soldier who was with Cyan. It's kind of fun to ponder his fate. Did he flee Doma safely? Did he survive everything that happened to the world later on? Did he too have a beef with the empire or did he just lay low some place feeling lucky to have made it out alive?
