At the end of Sabin, Cyan, and Gau's scenario, why are they sailing to South Figaro to get to Narshe? South Figaro had been taken by the Empire at that point. You'd think the port would be closed to incoming vessels.
When Celes takes the stage as the singer, whatever became of the real Maria? On the floating continent when Celes stabs Kefka, why doesn't she kill him? The WOR geography: Notice that Nikeah and South Figaro are both centered on land, nowhere near the coast. But you can sail from one town to the other in the WOR. I guess the damage to the geography isn't as catastrophic as the overworld map would lead us to believe. |

First of all...
Quote I think that in their world, elixirs are used to operate clocks. Every time they take it out of a clock, it stops operating. Or something like that. That's pretty random, and funny. Second... Quote Somethings are highly unlikely It's fantasy. You just have to believe!!! Seriously, that would be cool if they had the technology to create a major battle. That would emphasize that there is a war going on in the game. I always imagined that the Battle of Narshe was the biggest battle of the Imperial War, or Returner Rebellion. -------------------- |

How is it that a sickly old man can survive on his own in a town overrun by monsters? What happened to the townspeople and why is it that only four people are left in the entire town? Well, the fit do tend to survive. Maybe they had special tactics...It's quite beyond me. The town was overrun by monsters, and I'm sure it was hard to survive. Even in incredibly challenging situations (such as the suffering in the Holocaust), people have managed to survive. Quote You don't have to so much believe, just more like suspend your disbelief... (it's what my english teacher calls it at least). This whole debate makes me want to call my English teacher up. Remembering her lectures in class, I believed she said that in a fantasy world, at first, you do have to ignore physics and rules in our world. However, there are rules in the fantasy world we must learn to accept. Many of these rules are similar to ones on Earth, mostly because it would be annoying for the script writers to point out minuscule detail. So, because of these limits, we are forced to assume that everything that isn't obviously different is the same as it is on our Earth (and you know the things that really stick out as odd are magic and espers). Otherwise, we can't connect with the characters in the game and what they do while the game doesn't focus on them. (We must fill in the gaps ourselves with our own understandings!) This is not what it looks like it is. I really don't sit at my tv screen and pick out every detail that is unreal. How would I ever enjoy any of my hobbies? -------------------- |

Suspension of disbelief is the right terminology. If you read, watch, or play something with fantasy elements, you must act as if they are real to get the story. For example, if you watch wrestling, you know it's fake, but to truly enjoy it, you must act as if it is real. As for what you said about Fire spells under water, that's kind of the point. Fantasy does not follow the rules of science, otherwise, it wouldn't be fantasy. If anybody's wondering my random thought. All of the crap I just said, that's the kind of random crap I think of. -------------------- |

Possible spoilers: highlight to view isn't it convenient how Figaro cave and the Ancient castle cave both lead into the dungeon of Figaro castle. The castle conveniently stops at the caves' openings. |

How about the total world population being less than one thousand? Some grand Empire.
3-5 houses per village? And none of them have toilets or bathtubs or anything. The world itself has a dozen or so towns - and no farmland. How do they make burgers? Where do they get their milk? Wheat for bread? Grapes for wine? Who makes the cider? -------------------- The opera was only performed in English ONCE. T_T Hey, FF artists! You might want to check this challenge out! WEBSITE <3 |

They must all be busy making countless elixers, tonics, and such. Cider comes from magic spells. They all use the Empire's bathrooms (That's what started the war and drove Kefka insane, waiting for the toilet). -------------------- |

Besides i am sure the towns were bigger and had more people in them you just didnt see those parts because nothing important happened in those parts, so it was just easier to show what was important to the town. Look at mobliz. The entire town becomes childeren, yet if you look in the world or ruin, there are more childeren there than there were in the world of balance. This would indicate that either one family had a alot of childeren and stashed them all in random pots around town. The other thing about potions is not only how they taste, but what consistency they are. Are they oily? Thick? Creamy? Slimy? Not a lot of good options in there.
