I have two Final Fantasy 3(6) roms. On one it says it is not the v1.0 version, and on the other one (which is the US v1.0 version) it says I don't have the american version of the rom.

What I want to as is, is there a way to force this program to load my game anyways? I'm not quite sure what to do, I want to get down to editing. ^.^

Sorry if this has been asked before >.>

Are there any other editors that edit Espers?

I want to edit what the espers teach, and at what rate.

Anyway, I tried d.loading a few different FF3(6) roms and they keep giving me the same error messages. I don't know what's up with it.

Make sure your ROM isn't read-only. I'm not sure if it was FF3edit, but at least one editor had trouble circumventing that.

I believe FF3edit was the one that had trouble saving any changes. Or it corrupted the ROM. Something. There was something bad about that editor, that's all I remember.

I think the FF3ME might be able to change esper stuff. As far as I remember, it can do mostly anything that isn't graphic-related. So esper teaching rates should be there.

Or you could learn to hex edit and change all this by hand. That way you can be sure of what was changed. happy.gif
