The Orator uses words as his/her weapon. He has several different phrases to use against you... If you happen to have an open ear. What determines the Orator's % chance to hit? I'm certain the Zodiac is part of it, but is there any other factors to the equation?
Edit: After some testing, I've come to the conclusion that the user's MA plays a major part in the Orator's to-hit rate. This post has been edited by Corruption on 15th October 2007 06:55 |

According to the BMG, each Talk Skill ability uses a straight percentage that combines the Mediato/Orator's MA with a static value dependant on each attack. For example, for the skill Invitation, the success rate is MA + 20. It's unaffected by Brave and Faith, but is affected by Zodiac compatibility - depending on the positions in the Zodiac wheel of the caster and target, it can be up to 50% more effective or 50% worse.
