Hey Pheonix and everybody, sorry for the lack of appearance. I've been terribly busy with me almost graduating, and other life experiences. Also, I still tend on playing, but a few problems have occured. The files for "Ragnarok Online" got deleted, and I'm reinstalling them. I got the file that is 1GB, but the other one (the 33MB) won't work (the link that is). All I keep getting is:

Is there anything I can do about this, or a new link you can get perhaps? This would be incredibly helpful. Thanks!

Right click on the link and go to Save file as this should open it. If not not sure how to help you. I also have been absent for an extended period of time because i dont have net access at my house any more and can't access it from the library where i use the computer.

Sorry Lockes, but this did not work. It saved the link to my computer, but even when I open it up when it's saved it brings up the same message as before.

Is the link dead, and if so, is there anything that can be done to fix it? I would gladly love to play, but I don't feel like downloading the 1GB and waiting for it if the 33MB isn't even able to be downloaded. Any help that will overcome this delima will be greatly appreciated.

I hope this doesn't count as double-posting, it's been a few months since my last post.

Hey everyone. If some of you want new reason to play and aren't in the loop, there's a new, more balanced server that was just launched a few weeks ago. It's called Tyr, and its rates are 100/100/10 (except cards are x2) and the level cap is 99/70. There are virtually no NPCs at the moment (Ancyker is working on them), donates have less effect, and it is more WoE/PvP oriented.

I've been there since a few days after it was launched and I've enjoyed it. There are a few bugs, but they'll be fixed.

If anyone wants to talk to me in-game, my in-game name is Twilight Knight.

I made a couple characters on the new server.

Holy Cow 100/100/10!!!

Ten porings later, I'm ready to be an acolyte!

On the new server, I have an Aco named Leilong (<-- clever, right?), and a Merchant named SS2 Merch (Saying that SS3 Merch was my Merch on the other server tongue.gif )

Also, nothing levels you faster than popping undeads with Heal spells like crazy!

I saw you in Prontera! Yeah, the leveling is super fast, I was reborn in only a few days.

I've been continuing to plug away in Tyr, and Here's my list as of most recent:

SS2Merch is still my Merch at 52/39. No real reason to level him unless I want to start forging items. Initial buyin on all that is pricey, so I'll hold off.

Leilong is now a Priest 74/43, focused more on pwning undeads with Heals and Soul Spheres than anything. Never took the time for the big buffs, but the blessings, Agi Ups are always good.

McLovin is my BAMF. (<-Dane Cook reference, look it up if you're not sure happy.gif )
He's level 76/44 as a knight. Peco Peco + Lance + Spear Boomerang = Win.

Retrograde is my Sage. 79/49. Sages level uber fast thanks to Geographers having weakness to fire, and sages being able to walk around while casting spells. He's also now prepped to start making elemental change scrolls, I'm just too lazy to send McLovin out for low-level killing supplies. biggrin.gif

Nova is my Novice, level 40/-- Once he finally goes Super-Novice, I'm gonna show the world how Heal + Frost Diver x Lightning Bolt + Magus Break + Bash covers your bases almost completely. I can't wait to see how that all works out.

That sounds really interesting; I hope it works out good.

As for me I have Twilight Knight, who is a two-handed agi Lord Knight at 95/62 (I believe). I'm just waiting for WoE with this one, which is supposed to start tomorrow as far as I know.

xXFallen AngelXx is my 88/50 rogue. I'm not really sure what I'm going for with this one, I guess thiefing since that's all I use her for.

I have VendorOfDeath, who I just use to sell off my crap.

And finally I have PriestessOfDawn, who is a monk at 80 something/50. This is my latest one since I can't stay on one character for too long.

I know how that goes. Last night I started a gunner named Ericks, and colored his coat as close to Vash the Stampede's as I could. He's already in the 60s in levels. You'd be surprized at the monsters you can drop from on top of a hill with the gunner's snake eye skill. No retaliation whatsoever!

So I was wandering through Anthell when I was accosted by a Boss Creamy.
I was so confused he killed me while I was trying to figure out his name. So I did what anyone would do, I switched out to my Knight, and spent an hour running around beating down that teleporting bastard. At level 78, he gave me 86% of my base in experience. blink.gif No good items however. Went back to training my gunner some more today only to discover my shotgun isn't. dry.gif

Yay for personal chat rooms!

That's really entertaining. I think I saw that guy there once while I was trying to get a card. Didn't fight him though.

I hope they get the server back up in time for WoE tonight! I was pumped!

If you're talking about a Vitata card, I got one. (I just like to brag about it) tongue.gif

My gunner is Lv 70 now, and actively in a Guild called Effin Panda. The guild leader has a really odd habit of kicking out characters that don't talk to her, kinda odd, but forced conversation isn't that bad. Besides, she hooked me up with a really BA revolver for my Gunner. Definitely worth it for the perks. It will be sad tho when I kick back to being primarily a knight again. biggrin.gif

Actually, I was trying to get the Andre card. It's good for my Lord Knight. But congrats on the Vitata card, anyways.

I'm in KingdomHearts and I really like it there. We have 60+ people and we had 20 online for WoE. It was kind of a drag, though, because after we took Kriem we did absolutely nothing. I don't know if people were afraid to come try or what, but our guild leader paid us, so it's all good. We also had a lot of allies, so maybe that messed it up too.

Hmm... I've seen some people around with a panda in their emblem. Is that your guild?

Well, it's been awhile since I posted here last... and I have some updates.

To start, my progress has been hindered by the onset of a lady friend. So I have been quite distracted.

I took the dangerous and frowned upon route and started a second account so that I could sell twice as much crap.

I've been working on my knight, McLovin, he is at lvl 95, and it's TEDIOUS AS HELL to level at this point. I am sooo close to rebirthing I can taste it.

Also, I broke down and bought some bubble gum, and fanangled a chunk of Emperium out of it. I now have the beginnings of my own guild. I upped my tax and got a guild level out of it, so I'm approved for WoE with my guild.

I have a Lv 50-ish Aco named Rujuken on the Eir server. Going for priest since I used to have a godly High Priest on an old server and I enjoy the class. Makes me remember how hard it is to level when you are starting out with no equips.

I'm usually on in the evenings 6-8 PM central standard time. Send me a PM if you can use a heal slave about my level. Once I get to priest I should be able to take Glast Heim Prison. The exp comes pretty easy to priests there.

I'm digging up old graves with this post, I know, but in case there is still interest among CoN members in playing Ragnarok, I play a few times a week with some personal friends, from evening until late night EST on Fridays & Saturdays, and from very late night to early morning EST (hooray timezones!) on some weekdays.

There have been some significant upgrades to the Ragnarok game in the form of new maps, quests, monsters, and items, and there have been some handy additions to the Ragnarok GUI since last time we all played.

If you are interested in joining for the first time, take a look at the first posts in this thread for detailed instructions on how to install and play, and feel free to shoot me a PM or reply in this thread.

I've been pondering going back now that i actually have a computer again. the problem is my old computer had my old account on it. So i will be having to restart. Send me a message privately and we can work out the timeszone thing to co-ordinate when to meet on there. Though it will be hard to join the guild if no one higher up anymore plays, i believe they are the ones who have to induct you.

Characters are stored on the server, AlterEgo - as long as you remember your username and password, you'll still be able to use them fine.

I am so up for this. Which server are you playing on, Penix? I have characters on Eir and Loki, which were the two we generally played on, and now I have a stable internet connection, it won't lag like hell all the time. biggrin.gif

Oh man, I can customize the keys now? FINALLY!

It just isn't CoN in the summer time unless we're playing RO, is it? Well, you know I'm always game to load up and jump back into the fray. Like Mike, I have characters on Eir and Loki, so whichever you're playing on works for me!

Some of the new stuff looks interesting, but I'm more impressed by the fact that this server has lasted this long! At any rate, I'll be on, and hopefully will catch you guys.

I will be on, uh, at like 7 to 10 am EST May 17. (I'll have to work out a time for me that works out more reasonably for you guys. smile.gif )

However, anyone who is already in the guild can send invites. In other words, if footbigmike or Dragon_Fire are online, they can invite you, too.

If you post current character names, I will append them to the first post in the thread.

I'm in a different server at the moment, but I'll be glad to switch if its still alive.

Cool. Post a character name and get in touch. The server & download details are updated in the thread's original post.

There is often someone from CoN hanging out in the center of the town called Ayothaya, and the guild icon is a little chocobo.
