Among people who play wc3. Are there any custom maps you seriously like?

I personally like those short RPGs (2~3 hourish), but they don't exist anymore after someone made the "save" system >___>

other than that. I like Ninja vs samurai 4.5/4.5c

how about you guys?

and yes yes i know you like dota >___> you don't have the mention that one oO

Well considering I downloaded it, I had to play alone. pinch.gif

But still, some of these maps just plain surprise me, seriously. It's like hours on end of work put into a little map for a game.

Now, for some of my custom maps, it has to be the Final Fantasy one when theres Tactics classes, and the NPC's are all Final Fantasy characters to date. (Or probably just to X I believe)

There was another one called "The Final Fantasy" no, it's not a Final Fantasy map, it's just a RPG where you go n' recruit people along the way. Simple no? Well heres the thing with saving, it never opens up for me, so not good for single player, even though it's possible with a single player which brings me to a bonus point on the map. If someone leaves, you get their character! (Saving is sometimes needed for people leaving, it's really not a bad thing.)

But now my computer crashes about 2 months ago, and my mom asked the guy to save as much stuff as he could, which he thought she said dont. And I cant find a place to Download a no CD key. Go figure...

There's a lot of good TDs out there, Nintendo TD, Marvel TD, water TD, but the best is Elemental TD by far.

There's a bunch of risk games and some of them are good but some of them suck. Team Risk sucked, for example, but European Risk rocked.

There are a bunch of DoTA ripoff maps that are fun, the best one is "Final Fantasy Tactics", where you get to be any of the classes from FFT and it's Hotuken vs. Nanaken (I think) instead of Scourge vs. heroes or whatever. It even has the same requirements to get classes, and you can buy upgrades and items.

There was also this really expansive map called FFF or something that was basically a full fledged final fantasy four player co op, complete with towns and everything. I loved it but no one else I knew did, I'd love to play that again some day.

Was it Final Fantasy Forever? If so I can only think of two maps that I downloaded that's like that, and I even rememebr downloading it myself. The party leaders character gave certain bonuses, right? There were also random battles I believe.

I loved the Maul games, especially the tournament ones. Making mazes out of towers was SO fun.

Custom Hero Arena was fun until everyone went and got the same exact overpowered skills.

FH pretty much said everything I could.

And he is totally a liar because I liked to play FFF with him, but MG and Phun didn't. sad.gif

Final Fantasy Forever was just plain awesome! i hooked up with 3 other friends and we finished it in night! It was supposed to receive some sort of ''expansion'' which would add a new continent and stuff, but afaik that never happened. As you said, the party leader did indeed give bonuses to the party, which were bonuses like ''5% of max hp regained after battle'', and ''10% increased gold from monsters''.

Besides that, i like dota... well, and some tower / hero defenses, though i think tower defenses tend to become VERY repetative and boring after some time playing them. I like most player-versus-player hero maps.

Theres also Orcs Vs Elves, Dark Deeds, Ninja Vs Samurai, Vampirism and plenty of others smile.gif

If you want a campaign, find and download The Mathias Chronicles by Savage Potato. Not only are the levels well crafted and fun, but the story is possibly more absorbing than the game itself! I really like how the levels intertwine with the Blizzard campaign. Makes for a really good experience. You'll have to see for yourself though.

The only downside is that I can't find it anywhere. There are a few battle maps (I know that sounds silly but you know what I mean smile.gif) I wanted to replay but couldn't spot them anywhere. Trust me, if you're lucky enough to find them you won't regret it!
