Not often I get to leap in and make a news post, but I've just noticed that we passed 10,000 posts on the forums last night.

Ain't that special?  Special thanks to all the regulars and visitors who make the forum what it is.  It's been especially active the last few days, so if you haven't already, why not sign up and talk to us?

We'll have 20,000 in no time.  Keep on postin'.
(Unless it's spam, in which case... just get out of my house.)

Yes, thanks to everyone for keeping the forums going as a great community.  These are the only forums that I frequent and that's because everyone here is awesome.  I really enjoy being here because of that.

I had an old signature. Now I've changed it.

I got on last night, and found the count up to 9999, I thought it was an error until I looked at the individual forums for my self. I stayed on until it reached 10000, though I forget who it was who made the post.
   I've tried to get into other forums, but this is the only one which makes any sense. Its very easy to use, and very well moderated. All the others seem to consist of spam posts with rather large images in the signatures. This is the best developed site I have been to, on any subject, and here you can actually have an intelligent conversation (if your into that kind of thing).
    Its no wonder its reached 10000, and I look forward to seeing double that in the near future.

i couldnt believe i missed it, i wanted to be around for it, so im kinda pissed off that i didnt get a chance to see it. oh well i guess ill try to be around for 20,000.

Um, Tiddman, who made the 10000th post?

I don't know!  It was at 10008 when I got to post this.  

I got on at 9999, and when I finished with a post it was at 107. So I went back and searched for the seven posts before mine, and found the oldest of them. It seems as though the 10000th post was made by Neal, in the topic "Pronounciation Question".
