So yeah, I just dropped a wad of cash on the schweetest projector ever, and it started me thinking, what does everyone play their games on? I'd assume that a lot the emulator players are gonna hit up the montior button.

After voting, go ahead and brag about your viewing portal. I'd love to hear about dual 36" computer monitors.

Me personally, the projector I bought projects an image onto the wall that we measured out as a 71" Widescreen, and an 83" Full screen. It runs 2500 lumens, and has a 2200:1 contrast ratio. I don't know alot about Hi-Def, but I read that it's 1070i compatable, or something thats a number over 1000 + i compatable.

There's nothing like playing a course on Tiger Woods 07 on Wii when the image could be almost true to life.

I have a small tv in my living room. I don't watch TV nor play games often enough so it's fine for my needs.

A friend of mine has some crazy 60'' flatscreen TV. Believe me, that thing is scary. biggrin.gif

I personally have just a typical 30" TV in my room to hook up my oldschool Nintendo consoles up to. It had cable TV, but I hooked up the NES instead of that, so it can't be used for watching TV. It really is just for NES, SNES, GCN, and a Famicom if I pick up this one I'm looking at.

My brother has like beastly 52" floor model with these two huge speaker stacks...maybe 5' tall. It's ridiculous. At volume level 7 (out of like 50 I think) it shakes his entire apartment. huh.gif It's no 60" plasma like RL mentioned his friend has, but it is still amazing for some Wii games (Marvel UA or Zelda on that = amazing!).

Edit
Forgot to mention our other TV's. Oops. We have a small one in the kitchen for my mom (like 18" or something) and then a 32" flat screen in our family room. I really don't use those too much, though. Not a huge TV person.

We have a 55" plasma TV in our rec room, but movies and TV get first priority on it. If someone's using the big TV, then I just keep my gaming on my 29" ten-year-old TV a few feet away.

Sure, I'll brag about my 19" CRT monitor, why not? And I don't have any consoles hooked up right now, but recently my PS2 has been on my 23" CRT TV for testing. Just not at a point in my life where anything else actually makes sense.

I've got a 60" with a pro studio sound system set up on it that I use to play at home, when I'm in the field, or deployed, or whatever else, I have my 17" monitor that I use. As far as for my barracks room, I have a 27" that's almost 12 years old...but it still kicks cause of the stereo hook up I got!

I play my console games on a small 13" TV from 1982 that I got at a garage sale for $5. It works pretty well, and I wouldn't really have the room for a bigger TV.

I null voted. I use whatever's there.

When on the computer, I use my monitor. That also applies to non-computer games played on the computer.

When playing games on consoles, I use whatever TV the console is attached to or closest to being attached to. This has ranged from small to medium-sized TVs, partly because I don't have access to large-size or otherwise special TVs, partly because I don't care. I've mentioned before that if there is a TV that can conspiciously graphical quality difference between Twilight Princess and Gears of War, then the TV is way out of my price range and way above my needs.

The one thing I would love to see, though...

...is watching a full 200+% playthrough of Castlevania: Symphony of the Night in a movie theater. Complete with booming surround sound, and preferably the best sound effects put together from any of the three versions.

A run of the mill, probably a little under 30" television screen. It's nothing to complain about. It is getting a little old and broken, though. I might see something new in the near future.

I wouldn't mind a dealy where I don't have to change inputs for consoles.

My TV is kinda small, but it's good enough. Once the red, white, and yellow plugs were messed up, so we went to radioshack to ask about it (we ended up with some thingamagigger that plugs into the TV) and the guy was like "This is 3 years old, right?" like there was something wrong with that.

You mean a switchbox, and they're awesome. I use one for my PS2/GC/XB setup, and it works beautifully (even if 90% of my console gaming is done on the PS2).

Virtual reality visors?

Hey, there WAS the Virtual Boy.

And I guess he didn't include portable game system screens either, technically. So those could count as other.

(Hey, there was once upon a time that I dreamed of porting Super Mario RPG onto my TI-89.)

I have a big Tv

Don't assume this means I'm awsome. Sed big Tv is one of a series of Goodwill Tv's that cost about 9 bucks. This means it is a jerkwad, and I must smack it every now and again, and change all the cords when I want to watch a DVD, and Vice Versa.

But it's still a "great deal" apparently.

One of those 60" TVs would probably be bigger than my room.

I use a small TV either in my room or my sister's room. It's good enough but it only plugs in the yellow and white jacks so the sound could be better. When my parents go somewhere I haul out the PS2/GC as fast as possible so I'll get to use the good TV in the living room. It has the red jack too! Yay!
