This might seem like a rather strange topic but trust me, there is a method to my madness. I might have some big news coming in the next week or so related to this, but until then, I just have a simple question relating to this really great SNES platformer:
Where are the hidden items in this game? I remember reading in the Nintendo Power volume that reviewed this game that there are hidden items along the way. Now I was almost certain that these were the heart containers or roasts that were hidden in the breakable walls, but it also mentioned in there that there are some items hidden behind the waterfalls. There are only two waterfall levels in the entire game, stages 3-2 and 3-3, and only 3-2 has really obvious waterfalls. Does anybody know if there is anything hidden here? Most notably, are there any extra lives here? I have tried searching last time I played but I didn't find anything of interest here. I also didn't look very hard, though. Let us speak more generally. Does anybody know of any extra lives on any level in this entire game? I know of only the one on Stage 6 (the ballroom level), but I am sure that there are more. I would really appreciate any sort of insight anybody has. -------------------- Is PJ |

There is an extra life in 2-3. In the second half of the level, it comes soon after the first downward slope. When the ground becomes level again, there are some arches. Whip upwards when under the second arch (I believe); the candle is concealed by the arch.

Wow I did not even think of searching those waterfalls. I'll give a try next time I play through. Thanks!
Edit Edit: Yup, there definitely was a 1up hidden behind one of the pillars there. Thanks for the help! I never would've found it there. This post has been edited by Caesar on 29th June 2009 20:59 -------------------- Is PJ |
