I managed to finish disk I witha nice level of 29.

Yeah, you read that right.

After that....I went the opposite. I actually planned what level and/or amount of gil I needed before I could finish a disk.

Now I'm an obssessive leveler.

I also had everyone's ability to use a level 4 Limit break (With Cloud actually having omnislash) halfway through disk 1.

my amazeing feat must be beating the game with a lvl 78 cloud (with just cloud) by max his stats by morphing the monsters in the under water plane took nearly 100 hours in the plane

Funny you should mention the frog, FF Guru. I used to play this game to death - even as little as six or so months ago - and one of the challenges I decided would be to kill Emerald as frogs. Surprisingly not that difficult. I had Vincent's Death Penalty at 9,999 damage (here's how, the last paragraph in my post) so he dealt the damage while the other two randoms just healed. Hero Drinks are awesome, Speed Drinks are awesome, and Lunar and Light Curtains should be used on Vincent if you can be bothered. Keep everyone in the back row obviously and be prepared to fight for a while.

I was going to try Ruby with the same method, but never really got round to it.

I just brought her back with the Jenova hack,,,,,Made the game way too esy with her lv.4 limits

Intitial equip solo no materia would be fairly easy since you could sell your materia for potions and devote all your stat inscreases to that one character.

My lvl86 CLoud does 8600-9999 with the Buster Sword as it stands.

And the level 1 Yuffie beating Ruby Weapon has to be a fake btw since Yuffie matches your levels (which start at 6) when she joins making it effectively impossible without cheating


Enough ranting; Best thing I ever acheived was beating Ruby Weapon with Yuffie using only command and Independant materia (since the whole get attacked~counter~counter~counter~deathblow setup works pretty well as a damage dealer)
I guess the whole party flawlessly dodging Supanova is pretty funny as well

I'll tell you a feat. Being the only noob who has had the game since he was 14 and still never killed Ruby Weapon lol. Beat that!

No one believes me, so I can't expect anyone here to either, but on my first time through in Northern Crater I was fight one of those evil little things with the scissor kick. I manipulated it and used scissor kick on myself and it died! I don't know why or how, but it didn't strike me as odd at the time since I wasn't familiar with the game yet. Haven't been able to re-create, but will post a vid when I do.

Finished NSG FFX, Playing FFIV again.

jeez, i dunno, i've seen this game do ALOT of weird stuff.

my own favourites are probably a bit lame compared to your guys, but, i'd say:

1) the first time i beat a master tonberry without it killing anyone
2) actually completing the ancient forest sidequest in 10 mins,
3) mudering that flying hatbox ultimate weapon in just two battles (thank heavens for angermax and a wee little bit of leveling up early on at mideel)

like i said, probably a bit lame, but they mean something to me

and if you knew me you would know how much i hated her

Well im replaying the game and I just soloed Evil/Demon Wall with Tifa.

She was in the backrow with Long Range (I should of gave it to Aeris as she has the least amount of HP) and he used his giant rock thing on Cloud twice and Aeris once killing them both. I also had haste on all of the characters. (No Big Guard as I forgot to get my E-Skill materia in Midgar )

Tifa is level 34 (I power leveled as I was having a hard time) and had up to Meteodrive. Whenever Demon Wall would use his giant rock thing I would cast Cure 2 and then just use her Limit Break which does insane amount of damage

And I didn't revive Cloud or Aeris because they would just die before I could use Cure on them.
