So I want to go to Spain this summer (two months or so), to visit and maybe to work a little. The thing is, I'm rather poor (as a first year university student should be ;), so I guess I won't be able to afford rent a flat or a room in a hotel. I'm rather new to the forums, I don't know everybody, so my question is simple. Is anyone here living in Spain, that could let me stay at their place? And if yes, is there a possibility to help a Polish university student who speaks English and Spanish fluently to find a job?

Or maybe somebody else is also going to Spain this summer to work and would like to have a flatmate for two months?

You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one...

Silver_Zombie, I hope you find someone who can help you. There are actually hostels all over Europe (hostel, not hotel) that are cheaper that you can stay in. My sister's a tour guide in Europe, if you give me the city in Spain you're thinking of going to, I can email her and ask if she knows of any there. There are apparently a lot of people who up and go to Europe on a dime and end up okay.

Edit: Here's what she said: You can hostels anywhere in the world on www.hostelworld.com or www.hostels.com They will need to pick a city, like madrid, barcelona, granada..wherever they want.

If you tell me the city, I might be able to get more information, but that should get you started.
