i have one or two questions...

Can you mimic limit breaks?
when you mimic slot, do you also mimic exact combos? if you do and if you mimic 3 bars, do you also summon exact same esper?
can u mimic x-magic? if you do, do you also mimic same spells used?
can u mimic x-attack?
can u mimic when someone used quick spell?
can u mimic throw without wasting any items?
can u mimic esper summons?

1. Wrong game, and no.  However, it is still possible to use X-Meteo under Mimic if Fight was the last command.

2a. ...no.  That wouldn't matter.

2b. Yes.  Unlike Magicite, which randomizes the attack in its special effect, 3 BAR randomizes the Esper before the attack is even chosen.

3. Yep.  And same targets if they are not dead (if the spell doesn't have the retarget if target dead property, and the original target is dead, Mimic twice.  The first will do nothing, the next will pick a new target).

4. You mean Offering, and that's not possible.  Gogo can do it only if it has Offering equipped.

5. You'll still mimic the last attack, so in order to cast Quick under Mimic, you would have to waste the 2nd turn or the 2nd spell of X-Magic on the 2nd turn to cast a ineffective Quick spell in order to use it under Mimic.  IOW, it would probably be a stupid move.

6. Yep.

7. Yep.  Why do you think Gogo is considered almost a necessity when using the Ragnarok Esper for getting items?

MW...

When Gogo mimes Morph, since he doesn't morph himself, the result is just a physical attack

The same goes for Runic without a blade equipped on Gogo as well

No

Morph cannot be mimicked, but there is another way to morph Gogo, albeit it's a waste of time since you're really relying on a random aiming factor (Muddle/Rippler).

Runic and SwdTech can be mimicked blade or not.  The skills themselves do not require a sword, just the menus.

Mimic can cast any spell w/out MP cost.

thanks for info. mmmmm ragnarok with mimic, why didn't i think of that?  O_O

1 more question if you mimic a spell, (let's say ultima) then would it depends on the original caster's MAgic power or Gogo's magic power?

Any attack Gogo does relies on its own stats.

By the by, I think Bizay was refering to the 'desperate attacks' that characters get with low hp, not limit breaks and even if he wasn't I'll ask.

Can you mimic desperate attacks?

There's no difference in FF6. They're only called "Limit Breaks" by people who don't understand that there were games before FF7.

And here I always thought that Square just picked a random number out of the air and starting counting up from it.

How could you mimic a desperation attack anyways? If it's a character specific attack, it wouldn't even be possible for another character to do the same. Maybe they're own desperation attack is what he meant maybe? But that wouldn't even be a "mimic" so whatever.

I wonder if Gogo can mimic another character's D.A. as well...especially since he has his own (which is pretty dang cool).
