do i just post these to submit them?
i made this drawing cloud recently and the rest i made like 2 years ago. i drew them with the mouse. i like FF7 probly just a little more than 8, and my third favorite is 1 then 6, i didnt understand 2 or 4, never played 3, didnt like 9, 10 was real good obviously. i drew them all in hyperstudio which is just a basic card based program for OS9, its old and outdated but im so used to it i cant use anything else, i drew it with the mouse useing the line tool (not freehand) and i touched up the one of cloud with gradiants in photoshop im 24, my drawing skills have improved alot over the past two years, the drawing of cloud took about two hours while all the others probly took about 6 hours each ![]() This post has been edited by EqwanoX on 16th January 2007 21:05 |

I must say, you have quite alot of talent there. Your choice of colors is superb and fitting to each characters. Cid and Barret are my favorites of these.

These are fantastic. At first I thought you used the same template for the two Clouds, but I realized they're completely different. It's really awesome. And you did these in Hyperstudio? I used to do a lot of programming in Hypercard way back in the day but never made the jump over.

Very impressive work indeed.
Drwaing them with the mouse is an incredible feat, but I also lie your style in drawing them, and the simple but effective use of the shadows on their clothes and bodies. Barret is my favourite of the lot, with Cid in close second. |

Mmm, these are great man, loving them.
I'd love to see you draw some characters interacting with each other (a fight for example). I can see you have the skill to make it look fantastic. Cheers for sharing. -------------------- 'Let that be a lesson to all oppressive vegetable sellers.' |

The sketches look good none-the-less
perhaps it's just your style, speaking from a personal accord of drawing style conflict. I often draw characters who end up having exceptionally broad shoulders, which is often far from what I wanted. I think it's because when drawing human proportion I use myself, and I have exceptionally broad shoulders. So i'm trying to work on that. But I don't see anything strikingly *not* Sephiroth on the sketches, they look good. -------------------- "Have you ever seen a baby do that before?" |

All of those drawings are really good. I generally prefer traditional media, though, so I guess I actually find myself digging them sketches a lil more. Still, kudos all around

I think Cloud's expression, more than anything else, gives the hit the most impact. I mean, wow, he's being really pounded! Very nice work throughout.

Those new sketches are totally awesome. I am very impressed by your drawing style. These are more impressive to me than the first ones done in Hyperstudio because they're original poses and they turned out great. Have you considered coloring them?

Nicely done. I think you're just being modest about not being able to get Sephiroth to come out right. He actually looks quite good

That's awesome...and that's a new picture, isn't it? The pose has quite a few differences from the other one that looks alike.

The "smudgy" shading on that last one doesn't quite agree with me, but the drawing, as a whole, is really good. Pretty nice details goin' on there.

The last Sephiroth drawing looks a bit like M.Bison. Well, the legs and posture anyway.
Again, top stuff. I love how he retains the pretty face and long hair, but doesn't look feminine in the least. -------------------- Scepticism, that dry rot of the intellect, had not left one entire idea in his mind. Me on the Starcraft. |
