OK simple question: which airship was your favorite? Think in all terms: the layout, design sprites, theme, etc.

I choose the Blackjack. It was really cool, and inside, you had an Items shop, and a this weird "G'ho!" guy who would refill your health and magic points. The Falcon only came with this little guy who was apparently

I liked the Blackjack better, because it went with the earthy colors of the WoB. The Falcon went with the barren colors of the WoR. Because I liked the earthy colors better than the barren colors, I would naturally enjoy the Blackjack more.

Hmm, I think the Falcon looks better on the outside but the Blackjack has the better interior. The Falcon gets the better music but the Blackjack gets the better world. The latter is only because of the circumstances though. It doesn't directly make the Blackjack a better ship. Ugh... the Blackjack does have a cool shop and a stat refiller guy. Man I can't decide. I'm neutral. They were both cool.

I liked the Blackjack's music better, but the Falcon looked more like a zeppelin, which I liked.

I dislike the Falcon's music because it replaces the creepy music in the beginning of the WoR.

Despite the music, I voted for the Falcon because it looks cooler I think.

It's a hard choice, but the music (while flying) and interior casino put it ahead of the falcon. The falcon did have it's good points, though, like the speed at which it moved, and the little captain's room with the chair. But where were the casino tables?

I voted both, 'cause they've had differrent functions intended upon construction.
The BlackJack was a flying casino, an obvious showoff (point for cool looks) and a rich man's (Setzer's) toy.
The Falcon was designed to be the fastest airship there was and ever would have been and it's a war machine by looks.

I love 'em both!

I may be missing something here, but where in the game does it say Setzer's ship is called the BlackJack?

Can anyone enlighten me!?

I almost voted for the Falcon because I hate casinos.
But I still voted for the BlackJack because:
1) of the dude who refills your health
2) of the fact that the BlackJack has an actual crew, making it seem more like the piece of machinery it is

I love this poll since I'm such an airship freak...

Although I like the Blackjack for its crew and pizzazz I still chose the Falcon, because:

a.) It's faster.
b.) It isn't as cluttered as the Blackjack.
c.) I like the old man.

And to Figaro:

The old man isn't buried with the Falcon. I'm pretty sure you "recruit" him in Kholingen. Before you get the Falcon, there is an old man that will do the whole "unequip members" thing. After you get the Falcon, he's not in Kholingen anymore, meaning..

I voted for the Blackjack, simply because of the guy who restores your health. I love that guy. Also, Blackjack is never mentioned in the game, but it's become so widespread (I don't know if someone just decided to nickname it that, or if it was in a player's guide, or what) that it's just the unofficial official name.

Umm...they both did the same thing. Yes, the first one had a guy who refilled your health and an item guy, but you could fly to a town just as easily.

One was faster than the other??? I never noticed...

I voted they both suck. I want a blue ship.

im definitely all for the blackjack. i mean, im a setzer fanatic, and its a manifestation of his free-spirited taste. also, although the flight deck is shorter, its a much larger ship. the blackjack is cooler looking IMO. finally, the modest little shop and the "g'ho" guy is really cool. i used to wonder how to pronounce that.

the falcon has more of a womans touch than a gambler's, but i like the little parlor setzer stays in, but thats about all i like about it. i hear people saying it's faster, is that true? i havent really noticed.

Blackjack - It really had that Setzer touch to it, and reflected his personality and his interests (it would have been fun though to be able to have played Roulette, Blackjack or Poker on his ship!).

The BlackJack! I hate the Falcon! Bad design, ugly propellers, boring colours and no services inside make it a bad airship. The Blackjack had it all. Nice interior, lots of services (like HP refill and shop) and was far more cosy than the Falcon. Plus, the BlackJack had its own music, which was one of the greatest tracks in FFVI. The Falcon just hosts the WoR map music, which I don't like at all.

Well the Falcon introduces the song "Searching for Friends" so I'm willing to bet that's the airship music. There's a large focus on the airship in the WoR. It's like the Falcon is the last hope so the music gets all hopeful and happy. The real WoR music in my opinion was played before you got the Falcon which is very fitting considering the atmosphere.

I voted blackjack... guy who heals you for free, shop, roulette table... it's just a sweet ride. The falcon is okay, I suppose. The nicest parts of that ship are the captain's quarters where Setzer hangs out, and the engine room (all those gears turning are a nice touch). But all in all, BlackJack is the nicer ship.

P.S. I'm almost positive that the airship is directly called the "BlackJack", but I could be mistaken.

The Black Jack was Far better. That Design on the falcon was stupid. The Black jack was just well Cooler what with its iten shop and healer. To bad it was broken half the game.

Actually Neal, the name of the song that plays while on Setzer's airship is called Blackjack, which prolly explains why it's been given that title. Also, and I may be wrong here, but...

I think Setzer refers to it by name just before it's destroyed during the end of the world.

But I could be wrong.

Eh. Well, I say it depends. BlackJack has the rich man's finesse. It's a gamblers paridise. But the Falcon has sentimental value...and the music is cool. Now, it's be cool if the Falcon had a casino in it. Setzer would be giggy as a school girl.
