Hamedo was nice enough to post on my behalf so I thought and swing by and provide some actual clarity to those who care to know.

First and foremost, lazlow’s comment was not buried amidst some thread but featured prominently on the front page of the Caves of Narshe website at the very top of a news post, so to me that felt a little different from being jabbed amidst a thread featuring open debate. Even so, being called a punk wannabe didn’t make me run screaming from the CoN forums.

What it did make me do is reevaluate the reason why I post in this forum. Certainly I do enjoy square RPG discussion and some lively debate that I’ve been able to find here. Recently though I’ve been getting the increased impression that the staff here simply don’t like me. So the motivation to depart (in an apparently grand fashion) is mainly done as a desire not to be somewhere where I’m not wanted. This feeling gets amplified a little when it seems everyone choosing to remark about me has a full set of stars under their name.

Ironically, when I posted that there were some news-posters I respected, lazlow was first to come to mind.

I’ve graciously been allowed to keep my account so any friends who wish to contact me can still PM if they wish.
