What may be the some of the best news I've ever gotten
This is so beyond awesome. I love George RR Martin, and his Fire and Ice series. I've read each one of the books about a bajillion times, and this news rocks. I don't know how many of you out there are fans, but if you haven't read the books, I suggest you go and do so. -------------------- If you've been mod-o-fied, It's an illusion, and you're in-between. I just read about that too, actually.
I'm hoping that they handle this well because it has the potential to be the most epic thing since Lord of the Rings. The books are probably my favorite in the fantasy genre and I'd hate to see it get torn apart. I'm kind of happy they're going with a HBO series with the guys responsible for Rome rather than movies where they'd have to cut out massive amounts of details and characters just to make it fit. A book is equal to a season? That's not too shabby. -------------------- Okay, but there was a goat! |

Sounds great, I have been expecting a fantasy/epic TV series for a long time. Tough I haven't read the books, now I'm planning to do that.
