What is up with those videos about Zack and Cloud, is there any point to them and is there another video after the one that Zack gets shot in? if so tell me where and is it possible to get Zack on your team? or is that just a myth?

I hate this question, but anyways.
Zack getting shot is the last video that includes him and I'm pretty sure it's one of the last times he's mentioned in the game at all. He's offically dead and you can't get him in your party as he's really just a background character in the game and there are limited sprites and no battle sprites for him. -------------------- Okay, but there was a goat! |

If you want to learn more about Zack and Cloud's relationship then see FFVII: Last Order. It basically explains what happened in Nibelheim and how Zack and Cloud escaped and what happened to them.

I bet the game would be even more confusing if you started the game and named Cloud "Zack"! That would be so weird!

No, but if you have Tifa and Aeris in your party when you first meet them, it changes the dialogue.

Theres an image hack to have Zack in your team.

mate you are like a walking encyclopedia of this game
 . And i thought i knew almost everything about this game! how does this hack work? i'm squeezing everything out of this game because its my favourite. It just astonishes me how much i've missed and i've played the game hundreds. But back on the topic, other than that hack, there is no possible way to get him on your team. Its just not visable. I don't have that hack anymore, my ps codebreaker broke about 5 years, but I'm sure its on the internet somewhere, normally Japenese (NTSC) so just gotta find it and convert it into European code (PAL).

I always thought it was a myth... I suppose changing Cloud's field model is possible, but surely you'd need to create a battle one from scratch.

Any clues to where a screenshot of this Zack hack might be? I've never heard of it before.

Anyway, Zack is a hair hack, its just Cloud with black hair, and its a name hack to change it to ZACK in all capitals. Its impossible for anybody to be turned into anything or having different people who arent meant to join your team...JOIN your team. SquareSoft or whatever and the creators said so themselves. Look it up

As for wether it can be done with some hacking or not, well, that's a pretty obvious "yes." But that hardly counts now, does it?  I remember seeing some GS codes that did some really trippy stuff with Cloud's overworld model, so I don't suppose it'd take much effort to alter it. And there are model editors for FF7, so... the question is, why COULDN'T it be done? But as part of the actual game, cheats aside, even as a hidden, dummied out thing, no. No models exist, no text can be found in text dumps, the character ID doesn't exist, and there's no code as far as I've seen which can alter a model dynamically to make up for all of this (though frankly my PSX assembly skills are limited - nevertheless it'd be an outright stupid way of acheiving this.) Anyways, gameshark, 5 minutes, proven wrong. There is no ID for Zack. A quick trip through the CD's contents reveals no models for him in battle. So... whatever, I'm not here to argue scenarios and events, he doesn't join your team. Ever.
