Well, i've been playing Zelda: Twilight Princess, and almost everytime you get a rupee, it shows it up close like you just got that kind of rupee for the first time. It's not really, but kinda a bothersome when your in the middle of fighting or doing something, and everytime you get a rupee it shows up like you first got the rupee.
It's kinda weird to me, and to be perfectly honest I think it wasn't meant to be in the game like that, probably an error IMO. My older brother says different though because he thought it would make the game better because he liked it when they showed things when you first got them up close, fully 3-D like in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. He loved it, and I like it too, but not when it happens everytime. Opinions welcome! -------------------- Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Chrsit for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost Acts 4:12 Matthew 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost |

Yea I noticed that, too. Not a real big fan of that, myself, but oh well. At least they stop the action around you while you hold it up and marvel at it, instead of letting you get destroyed.
The more pressing question on my mind is why, if you know for a fact that you picked up AT LEAST 50 green rupees on your way through the dungeon, you can't just replace one of them for a purple rupee when you have 251 rupees. Seriously, just throw a few on the ground. Purple rupees are that good, Link! This post has been edited by Caesar on 23rd January 2007 01:35 -------------------- Is PJ |

I've noticed that too, despite never having actually played TP (I watched friends playing), but having not played it hasn't made it as much annoying as it is amusing. I make fun of it, and it is reminiscent of old games which would play the same stupid fanfare every time you found something interesting, even if it happened all the time.
Hey, it even happens with 10-rupee pieces, and sometimes even with 5-rupee pieces. -------------------- Check the "What games are you playing at the moment?" thread for updates on what I've been playing. I didn't notice this. I did notice that it happened the first time I got a rupee during that day's playing, but somehow I didn't realize that it happened every time. Weird.
