Today I was watching some TV, and as I was browsing through the channels I came upon this guy that looked exactly like Kenshiro from the popular anime Fist of the Norh Star. I enter the channel info thingy, and turns out I just landed in the live action movie of Fist of the Nort Star. From the start it looked very low budget, and crappy, but the story was good. I watched the entire thing and suddenly I got the cravings to go and find animated Fist of the North Star, and now I'm hooked on North Star once again.
I just saw OVA 1 of the New Fist of the North Star and DAMN it looks awesome, can't wait to see the other two. Anyone here likes Fist of the North Star, if so, any help regarding the cronology of the original series is welcomed. I'm tryin to find this old series, but don't want to spoil the story for me. The only thing I can offer regarding Fist of the North Star is that it produced a really kick ass video game.
You put on boxing gloves and there were six retractable targets that you punched to defeat your opponents. I kid you not. -------------------- I find your lack of faith disturbing... |

I go kill time there during my ridiculous breaks and do nothing but punch at retractable circles right as they light up, apparently that means I can beat up over-grown, muscular men with Mohawks. The new ova looks promising, but I'm still uncertain of what direction they're going with the story in general, as I've heard we can expect quite a few chances from the original.
