If you problem is strictly with the bosses, I might be able to help.
First, Minitaurus. Make sure you haven't got any "Holy" elemental weapons equipped. Have "Summon" as one person's secondary ability, and use Golem if you have it. What I usually do now is have Bartz as a Lancer with Summon, Krile as a Knight with White Magic, Protect Ring on Bartz, Elven Mantle on Krile. Back row both of them. Have Bartz Jump every round, Krile heals (probably) every round. Or, just back row two Samurai, and throw money at it until it dies. Don't worry when it says it's going to hit you with Holy - it doesn't have the MP for it. Now, Omniscent. If you have Carbuncle, I would use it, or Reflect Rings if you have them. Have a lot of Hi-Potions, as that's how you'll heal. Omniscent is weak against Thunder, I think, so nuke it with that and Syldra if you have it. I recommend Reflect, because it's death rattle is a Flare spell. Hope those help. ![]() -------------------- You don't scare me, you talking blobs of oozing slop! I am impervious to pain! |

Minotaurus' AI says that if he is hit with the Assassin Knife, he will use "No Clue" on himself. That spell induces instant death and bypasses all immunities. I have never tried this before, since I found it out now, but you can probably live with just one person using that weapon.
As for Omniscient, there are no peculiar counters in his AI. When he gets low on health, he starts using some decent magic, but that's about it. You should equip Wall Rings on your party for an instant win, or, if you're feeling lucky, you can just straight attack him with magemashers and hope that the 33% chance to cast mute is enough to keep him from using Return. Yet another option is to not equip Wall rings, but rather use Carbuncle. I see no reason to do this because you'd have to cast him more than once, and there's a chance you could take damage. Actually, if you deal damage to Omniscient somehow with the Steal command, then he won't use return. I don't think this includes Capture, so that might not make any difference, but you can give it a try if nothing else works and you want to just smack him around. -------------------- Is PJ |

Quote You might also be lucky enough to deal straight 9999s one-two times in a row. I couldn't believe that while doing my Thief SJC. Then again knives were bugged to deal more damage than swords in terms of speed add (I noticed Faris constantly doing +5/10 more damage than Butz, and both were at the same level with no changed original stats and equipments).if you're feeling lucky, you can just straight attack him with magemashers and hope that the 33% chance to cast mute is enough to keep him from using Return. The way I kill Minotaur is to equip Defender (a sword you can find while traversing his tower) and Chicken Knife/Braveblade (depends on your actions in ending a fight). Be sure to have atleast around 1500 HP to be safe. Use Cure 3 on your characters when you're about to die. Keep up the strategy and he should be down for good. My recommendation on Omniscient is to use Wall Rings. He will always far for it.. Do try to bounce off Fire 3/Ice 3/Bolt 3 your characters to maximize damage ![]() It's a shame Holy and Flare both are only a single target range. |

Minitaurus: That was early enough on that I was dual wielding twin lances and pwning with style.
Omniscient: Wall rings. All the way. -------------------- If internal struggles were as enjoyable and glamorous as the self conflicted wars within video game characters, we would all be statues, reveling in perpetual self war. -Me Play me on Rock Band 2, GH-WT, or any other Xbox GH! What I did was:
For Minitaurus I chucked money at it for a couple turns with my Samurai. For Omniscient I cast Silence with Spellblade so that he couldn't use Return. I used Aeroga on him for some pretty good damage since that's his weakness and just beat on him with my Mystic Knight. -------------------- Why, hello guys!
