I'm just doing some training in FF5A, and I've been wondering.
When you master a job, the auto-abilities of the mastered jobs (A Ninja's Dual-Wield, for example) pass on to the Freelancer job, don't they? Well, does a Blue Mage's Learning pass on? |

As far as I know, the only passive skill that won't pass on is the Berserker's Berserk passive. By the time I actually use the Bare class, I have all the Blue Magic, so I don't know if Learning is passed on. My guess is yes, though.

It definately transfers to the Freelancer. Next to the Berserker's auto-Berserk, the Necromancer's Undead status also doesn't pass onto the Freelancer. Note that the Mimic also gets these inherent abilities, minus Berserk and Undead.

I've found the answer out myself, now, though thanks for the help.
Got Goblin Punch from Gilgamesh, so I'd wager it works. Thanks anyway, though ![]() I've also discovered that !RapidFire and !SpellBlade do work in conjunction. Yes they do, don't argue ![]() Edit I suppose the reason people think they don't is because there's no animation, but really, I'm not complaining. I wouldn't much fancy watching my sword charge with Fira or Flare every attack. But they do work, 12000 damage to a boss in one attack says so ![]() This post has been edited by Yoshimitsu27 on 29th January 2007 21:51 |

Quote 12000 damage to a boss in one attack says so Try 17,000+ with chicken knife and excalibur. While Msword and Rapid fire sure is good in all (I still don't believe it, but it doesn't matter) 2swords is more useful than rapidfire. -------------------- "Have you ever seen a baby do that before?" |

i have to admit that it may be possible that spellblade works in conjunction with rapidfire in ffva. i have been trying to figure out how it was that i beat omega. and if the rapidfire thing is true, then i beat him in one turn with an rf thundaga excalibur and ragnarok. i know i beat him in a combo of 8 4500+ attacks, but i've been racking my brain how i did it. Maybe there is something you have to do in ffva specifically to make that combo work. I had already beaten the game when i did that too.
