I didn't think I could effectively pull off a full-body drawing of Zalbag, so having been inspired by another (and WAY superior) piece of art, I came up with a close-up drawing as seen below instead.

Excellent work, Galsic! The expression on his face is awesome and I really dig the colorin' 'n' shadin' job. I always thought he had more of a long, pointy goatee.

One of my favorite FFT characters!

Very well done, Galsic. There is, however, one major, MAJOR flaw that I cannot ignore....

FFT characters have no noses. tongue.gif

I am, of course, kidding. Great work there man. thumbup.gif

Impressive to say the least. Especially the solidarity of the face. Expert use of shadows and line to give definition.

Echo the great use of shading and line. And Zalbag rocks. biggrin.gif

This is a great piece of fanart, nothing bad to say about it. I like the shading, The proportion is well done, The expression on Zalbag's face is great, and this is one kick ass piece of fanart.

His face seems anime-ish to me. Compared to your other work anyway.

I see you've started to combine colors a little bit. I like the subtle skin shading. Everything looks good and I can't really point out anything that is off. Very nice.

I like this piece. The shading is professional, but I don't like the shape of his sword's blade (looks curved on an area).

Well, it's supposed to be curvy. Although, looking again, I didn't really put enough of a notch on that other side. For that matter, Zalbag may very well have more hair along his jaw, as well. Dang...
